Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Traverse City, MI

This hotel is over-priced but I know it's because of the location. Easily accessible to downtown TC, beaches and the peninsula. Upon arrival...not before....the front desk attendant informed us that both the pool and the hot tub were not working so they were both closed. They had been closed for over a week. The attendant said that we could cancel our reservation if we wanted to. WHAT? And where did she think we could find vacancy at another hotel on that day?? I feel like we should have been asked if we wanted to cancel PRIOR to our arrival! I felt bad for families with children who had booked a hotel BECAUSE there was a pool. Also, I have never been to a hotel where the room would be cleaned every 3 days!! There was not even an option to ask for clean towels....just "every 3 days the room will be cleaned". Well, we were leaving on the 3rd day so I guess that's how they plan when the room will be cleaned. There were existing crumbs under the desk in the room and dried snot on the bed skirt! Breakfast was the typical dried cubed potatoes, fake eggs, make-your-own waffles. Like I said, over-priced hotel. This was our first time to TC. We loved it but we will not be staying at this hotel again when we return.

The property needs remodeling. Hallways looked dark and dingy. Was overpriced. Breakfast not good. Pool was closed for repair. Location was good.

If you’re gonna charge a price like you charged, you need to have basic good quality items

Room was very clean! Staff was very helpful and friendly! Will definitely stay here again! The pool and hot tub were not working but we don’t use them anyway.

Stay somewhere else!

When we got to the hotel there was a sign saying the pool and hot tub was closed. No explanation no refund. We picked the location because of the amenities and the hotel didn't keep up their end of the contract. The location and breakfast were good.

Pool and hottub were out of order. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and breakfast was great!

This was an okay stay. Pool was open one day and closed the rest of the time. Not close to much so you will need a car. Cookies in the lobby is a nice touch. Breakfast was so-so. I slept well and the shower was good.

Dirty and smelly. Absolutely not worth the $350 rate. The pool was shut down by staff three hours early allegedly for a leak, but the next morning at 8am was full of people. Felt very unsafe with questionable people wandering the parking lot from the building next door.

Clean room

Nice room and the breakfast was good. We were told rooms were cleaned every third day. We were there a week and room was never cleaned. It was noisy due to other guests and what I can only guess was construction next door. Overall not a bad experience.

My wife & I came to Traverse City to do & see ,we weren't looking for luxury, so this hotel checked all the boxes for us. it's clean, quiet & comfortable. There is a nice pool & hot tub & good common space. From my research I believe it to be the most affordable of its class. Its an excellent location close to beaches, restaurants, etc

The breakfasts were great to start the day off

The beds and pillows were very comfortable and clean. Good sized room to move around in. The lounge and breakfast rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was good but would have liked ceramic cups instead of paper cups for coffee, cut up fruit, and fresh bananas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the property maintenance and updating appears to be declining. Marred walls and baseboards, dated wallpaper, stained old carpeting. Hotel is not as nice since change of ownership. It's clean but dated decor is tired looking. Excellent location in Traverse City.

The hotel rooms could use some updating, but everything was functional and somewhat well-maintained. Breakfast was good, although the selection was somewhat limited. Our biggest disappointment was the Wi-Fi, which was extremely unreliable. The signal was so weak that the network often didn't even appear on our devices, making it essentially unusable. The bathroom was fine overall, but having the exhaust fan tied to the light switch instead of a separate switch was a bit annoying. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again, especially because of the comfortable beds, friendly staff, and convenient location.

We enjoyed our stay very much, great shower, very comfortable bed! We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

the room was nice but was overpriced. the breakfast was good. the cookies in lobby were good nice to have ice water provided in lobby they had coffee but no water. who drinks coffee when it 92 degrees out ??
