Rooms look newly renovated and clean. Beds were comfortable. The location was near the water and along the main road. The AC unit was very loud and not really cooling much. All of the built in shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers in the shower were broken or empty. The bathroom lights were blindingly bright. The breakfast was a sub-standard continental breakfast. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

Comfortable beds, grab and go breakfast, or sit and relax. Fantastic location. Close to everything in TC!! Would stay again.

Air-conditioning was cold, beds were comfortable and the water was hot!

We we're there for 3 nites, the rooms are good. Are beds we're great we slept like babies. They need to get rid of there carpets and go with a tile. If not they need to scrub there carpets often. Other then that it was nice near to Elk Lake and Torch Lake.

Great location! Bottle of cleaner was left in the room, bathroom mirror had something brown and sticky on it and the carpet tacks were sticking up right before you walked into the bathroom - hurts when you walk on it without shoes. Also they provide a coffee maker and coffee pods, but no cups.

The lobby smelled so we didn't take advantage of the breakfast. But our room was very nice. Clean and great bed and shower. Kind of high price for a Super 8 but I realize it was peak season.

The room was very clean but during our thre night stay, it was never cleaned, trash was not removed or fresh towels. The greeter in the office was kind and courteous. The breakfast consisted of boiled eggs, yogurt, low grade bagels, two cereals and pre-made small waffles and pancakes. Snacks such as apples and granola bars were available.

This hotel was good enough. It was one of the cheaper options in the area during the summer and it got the job done. There was a switch next to the front door that didn't control anything, so we would always walk into the room and have to turn on a bedside lamp to see before doing anything else. The bathroom door didn't lock, which wasn't much of an issue because when you'd sit down your legs would block the door form opening. The first night the TV started playing sound randomly and only turned off after turning the TV on and off. The TV remote was dumbed down a lot and we could only scan the TV channels one at a time and couldn't jump to a specific one. This made it really difficult to watch TV. Finally, there was barely a "Continental Breakfast". They didn't have the freshly cooked eggs, sausage, bacon, etc nor a waffle maker to eat. They did have cereal, coffee, fruit juice, oatmeal, and pre-made waffles and pastries. I tried to have serial, but they only had almond milk and no dairy milk. They did also have some protein/granola bars. Granted, if you're in TC, you probably are going to go out to breakfast and just need a place to sleep for the night, so this place will get that done well. Overall okay and I'd probably stay at again if I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a good hotel experience. This hotel is good, I'm just pointing out all the unique things I noticed about my experience.

It was in our price range. Our reservation was messed up and the clerk was not helpful in attempting to fix it. We found our room and the door was standing wide open. The bedspreads felt damp as it had been raining. There were no hangers or a place to hang anything up. I refused to use the tub as it had several places where the enamel was chipped off. Breakfast was not ready when we went down (about 20 minutes into the posted breakfast times.)

Not much Comfortable bed We had no towels in our room and had to go to the office to get them. They left nasty smelling good in our refrigerator. Stunk up the whole room. Breakfast items were poor and we had to keep asking the front desk to replace an item We had 6 rooms and we were traveling as a group.The price was right but very disappointed

Overall everything was ok. The room could have been a little cleaner. Parking was limited, we got back a little after 11 one night and the lot was full so we had to park across the street. The pool and pool area were nice. The breakfast and breakfast area were adequate.
