Park Place Hotel

The room was exactly how it was described, and we loved always having a parking space downtown. It wasn’t a worry of where we are going to park for the night. Great walking distance to a lot of places too! We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very dated, and not maintained. Rooms were very small and hard to move around in definitely not ADA compliant Housekeeping was not consistent, and they just threw towels and linens in the hallway for guest to walk around. The towels where dingy, wallpaper and paint scuffed and torn in places throughout the hotel. Elevators we're out of order, ice machines did not work and to stay for a full holiday weekend was very unpleasant

They do a great job with parking.

The photos are deceiving if you’re not familiar with the area - no waterfront view but fairly close walk. The kiddie pool was what attracted us and was “closed” due to chlorine levels but connected to the main pool. No evidence of anyone working on it over the 2 days we were here :( Elevators old and not clean, one went out of service while here.

Staff were fantastic, the pool(s) were great other than the splash feature in the kids pool not working. Definitely an older hotel and not nice in all the right places, but a comfortable enough stay in a great location.

Location is excellent and overall nice hotel. Very soft towels and comfortable beds. It is overpriced for what it offers. The hotel is dated.

Our room was init in the main building. Dated and in need of upgrading.

The location to the lake front and down town shopping & eating areas is excellent.

The staff was very helpful but it was unfortunately we had to continue to reach out to them about issues with the room. The sink clogged, the toilet clogged and the soap dispenser in the shower was broken.

Back to the desk..no apologies just here’s another room for you. We quickly left for. Our planned event and only realized the next morning that there wasn’t any soap or shampoo! Pretty expensive stay not to at least have the basics We both found the hotel in need of a lot of TLC. It looked dated, unclean. Very disappointed in our stay

Sliding door to patio didn’t lock and blackout curtains didn’t fit window but otherwise it was great

The hotel is a unique building to stay in, it’s definitely got some history to it and you can tell the building is very old. But the rooms were clean and cozy to stay in. I loved the pool it has a nice hot tub and splash pad area for kids. Staff was friendly and told us about local restaurants etc. Rating 4 stars because the rooms were pretty small for what you pay for.

Some bits showing wear but very clean, staff was friendly and efficient. Don’t miss the view from the rooftop bar.

Good restaurant! Elevator needs to be fixed.
