Not our first stay. Slightly disappointed in check in and the condition of our room. Spoke to the maintenance guy. Said he was the only one on staff. That’s apparent. What we like about CTI-the views. The pool. The hot tub. Breakfast was good! Unfortunately, our room wasn’t as clean as it should be. The bedding was dirty. They did nothing about it. Appeared to be a blood stain in the carpet next to the bed, yuck. One of the towels was dingy. The window and patio area was full of bugs. I wish they cleaned all that before the next guest arrived. The toilet seat was loose and the bathroom fan didn’t work. We do like the Inn but for the price I would expect better. Check in was extremely disappointing. We arrive at 3:45. Check in is 4. We were told our room wasn’t ready and they would text us when it would be. The girl working the front desk wasn’t pleasant at all. Very short! We waited, got coffee, waited some more. Finally at 5 we inquired about our room. She simply handed us our keys and said you are all set. No apology nothing. Not a great way to start off. The cookies are a nice touch, but I find it extremely tacky the staff is getting into them before guests even have a chance. This will probably be our last stay at the Inn. So many other places to stay in the area.

Negatives: It's the first few resorts right off a busy highway so you can hear the road noises. The main building rooms should get an upgrade, especially the carpet. The breakfast should be better...serving canned fruit in a bowl??

Lobby and outdoor areas well maintained and kept. Rooms could be updated. Bed very squeaky and room smelled musty.

Beach view was great….Most of the staff were great…WiFi was terrible…Breakfast was acceptable and related service was exceptional.

Kitchens in your suite? Check what it includes. I had a small mini fridge and small microwave. No paper towels. No soap . No paper goods other than cups for a one cup coffee maker. Thsts not a kitchen to me. Pool time for adults only is 10 pm! Thats just inadequate. For families it might be great but for couples I’d find another place .

Great location. Place is outdated for the price

Great location and comfortable beds. Good home base for traverse activities.

Clean room, however the fan is bathroom was too loud because it was attacked to the light switch. Storm door to walkout patio would not shut close. Beach view was great!! Location is great!! The staff was friendly and helpful.

This property is in a great location right on the bay. We stayed for four days. You can hear other guests talking in the room next door and the hallways so not great sound insulation. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast food was average. The lady working in the breakfast area was super friendly and helpful. We had terrible wifi in our room. There were one or two spots in the room where it worked well. The balcony had no connectivity. This was a pain more than anything, but if you were trying to combine work and a vacation it could be a real problem. I admit I am a clean freak, but I noticed little things around the inside of the hotel that could be improved- stairwells needed vacuuming, trash here and there. No hand sanitizer in the dispenser near the front door the whole time we were there. Overall, we liked it well enough that we may stay here again in the future.

This hotel is located right on the water with a small beach, chairs and firepit and pools and jacuzzis. Our room was comfortable and quiet and spacious. It was a holiday weekend and the outdoor areas were very crowded so we did not use any of the amenities and we left before breakfast was served.

I really love this property. It was extremely family-friendly. I would stay here again if I was ever in the Traverse City area. My kids loved the lakefront rooms and easy access to the water!

The lady in charge of the breakfast was excellent.

Look out for destination fee charges they charge you every day $25 to use the pool, parking lot and their crummy breakfast which on the website, it says it’s complementary and then they blamed it on Expedia. The outdoor pool and hot tub was dirty all the time and they had a broken screen door when we got there, The maid didn’t come and clean our room when I text her the night before like they told us too. The view was the only thing good and bed was comfortable.
