I really love this property. It was extremely family-friendly. I would stay here again if I was ever in the Traverse City area. My kids loved the lakefront rooms and easy access to the water!

The lady in charge of the breakfast was excellent.

Not clean and everything in the building needs touched. There was a dead bug in the elevator all week. Floors were dirty

The room had an animal smell. But it was a great place other than that.

Beach view

The perfect weekend getaway. This hotel had beautiful views, rooms that walk right out onto the beach, indoor and hot door pool. The breakfast was delicious that was included each day. Highly recommend!

You get charged a resort fee every day of your stay and the place ISN'T a resort. The pictures fool you, the beach property is extremely small and the indoor pool is trash. Room wasnt clean and the excuse was "we dont have a regular cleaning staff". I will not be booking at the cherry Tree Trash again.

Great place especially if you have kids! Breakfast could have a bit more variation for those staying longer but it was good nonetheless. Staff were super friendly and attentive.

The fitted bed sheets did not fit the bed, and with the mattress cover being slippery, the sheets kept coming loose

Check in staff was polite and helpful. Nice, clean room with balcony overlooking the bay. My reason for only 4 stars is that the heating/air conditioning unit was quite noisy and loud and the carpet needs a deep clean or replaced. This is the second time we have stayed at Cherry Hill Inn and would definitely stay there in the future if in Traverse City.

We requested a refresher of the room because we stayed there for one week, they said they would come and no one did.. we had to call again and only got our towels changed but the room wasn’t refreshed.

Our room was just ok. We were in a Jacuzzi suite. It was difficult to enter and exit the enclosed area where it was located. The shower was the worst, with black mold on the tiles on the floor, and the walls were not cleaned. Then had white soap scum streaks on the wall appearing to have not been cleaned for quite a while. The sheets didn’t fit the king bed and slipped off the corners and bunched up on top. We had no clock in the bedroom. Halls and common areas, except for the breakfast room, were also not cleaned regularly. Same dirty floors in the elevator over our 3 days stay. Our suite appeared to be freshly painted, but furniture was old, couch had a cigarette burn on the arm. Outdoor pools were not cleaned during the 3 days we were there. On a better note, the breakfast was very good and fresh. The staff attended to refills and kept the room looking neat and clean. They were excellent!!! Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. We won’t return and we were not impressed for the price we paid!!

We went there for our 34th anniversary. The King Suite with the Jetted Tub exceeded our expectations. We loved the bay view and balcony. On the weekends, the free breakfast should be extended to at least 10:30.
