Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City

Hours to the water park need to go later during the summer time. Disappointed that our grand daughter was allowed one night to go down big slide with us. Then the next day on our whole day there she wasn't allowed.

The rooms were large, and clean and had all the amenities that I wish for in a room. Very good. Don't like the idea of having to pay for parking.

Our room was clean, staff was great! Cleaning crew deserve a raise. Wonderful girl this am just came by to see if we needed any towels for shower before we check out. She was kind and had great people skills. Thank you for a great great stay!

The facility was clean and nice. Our Kids Cabin room was a good size, and we had a balcony that was enjoyable. The one frustration that I had with GWL was that you had to pay for parking. The lot was for guests only and was not adjacent to any other businesses or parking lots and we did not have advanced notice of charges for parking. $20 a night seems overly expensive for parking in a normal parking lot for a business that does not share parking with other entities. Other than that, GWL was convenient to all the outside activities we wanted to do, and the kids had fun at the water park. Nice place.

Everything was great. The kids (and parents) had a great time! The kids especially enjoyed the MagiQuest games.

Great suite room with balcony. Comfortable beds and very lush towels. Clean and all the amenities you need. Friendly staff. Water park clean and fun. Lots of different areas to have fun and explore. Enjoyed the adult only hot tub and outside pool. Would recommend for families and will definitely visit again. Off peak season is most affordable.

For the price (summer in Traverse City!) it was a great deal - no serious complaints about the room, all well kept, and a fun couple hours in the water park pretending to be kids again... Would do this again!

Everything was great and functional

My family has stayed at this location beginning in 2013. We have always parked in the parking lot while we PAID A LOT of money for our room each night. That was always fine because we had young children. This year, 2026, my husband and I decided to return to where we had so many good memories. Not the same place anymore. We booked our stay through Expedia and paid $1560 for 5 nights. However, when we check in, there is a "parking fee"!! $20! per night....wait, in order to stay at your hotel 99% of people have a vehicle to drive. So, I was FORCED to pay another $130 to PARK to stay at their hotel also. I will not be back.

I don’t like the money grab. Everything is so expensive!! From the room to the food to the $20 a day to park. $50 Build A Bear. The arcade, the gas. You spend a ton of money in such a short period!! It’s hard to enjoy the experience tbh. Loud neighbors partying on the balconies all hours of the night. Dead baby birds when you wake up, right outside your sliding door. Nice room, but it’s almost as much as my apartment rent for a month in only 2 nights!! Hard to justify. All in all the water park was fun, but again due to weather we could not enjoy the outside pool at all. Oh how the kids love it, but the parents pay the ultimate price!!

The whole lodge is cashless, so come prepared. We also were unaware of the cost of parking at the lodge ($20 + 1.20 tax for each night) until we left and were sent an invoice. You are each given wrist bands instead of room keys and they have the option to be activated as a method of tap to pay while you’re in the lodge. You do not have to activate any or all of your bands. Overall a pleasant stay, housekeeping brought extra washcloths to the room unfolded and in a small clean trash bag.

Excellent place to stay. Clean. Amazing amenities.

First time at Lodge and everything was wonderful. Clean property, inside and out, friendly people and a wide variety of entertainment for all ages.

Rooms were nice clean and spacious!

We asked for them to at least waive parking, which is $20 on top of the hefty room charge, and they refused. Instead, after further discussion, they gave us a pass for mini golf (which was nothing special) because…this property charges for everything!! The property itself is fine but very dated. It was a bit dirty in the common area but our room was clean.

It was awesome! We had so much fun.

$20 parking fee per night. Just another fee they tack on. While it’s not hidden, it is one of those fees you don’t expect. It’s a blatant way to try and extract whatever fee they can. It leaves a bad feeling when they add fees like this on.
