Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City

Eating was a little expensive but our time at the Great Wolf Lodge was fun

Great family weekend. So much fun to keep the kids busy, and love that they let parents just relax too.

The room was very clean and staff very friendly. The facility is really best for families, kids all over the place, which is fun. They had them all dancing in the lobby having a blast one evening when I got back to the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in 2026 however, charging $20 per day to park in your parking lot that was built for your customers is ridiculous. We didn’t have this parking fee the last time in 2025 we stayed at your great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City, Michigan. This is the first time we’ve ever been charged to park at any lodging where we’ve staying. Totally unacceptable plus get rid of the kiosk machines that are not very customer service friendly. That is not a great way to be greeted when you come in by a dumb machine that you need to have an employee standing there walking you through it. Go back to the counter and greet your customers the way customer service is meant to be. Totally cheap way to run your business. It may save your lodge money, but it’s not customer friendly and now that’s what I remember about your lodge

Very overcouded and overpriced, $5 water bottles, 1 hr wait for coffee, lomg lines unferstaffed slides..suprise $25 parking per day.

Overall, the hotel is great for families.

Nice place in a good area with lots of places near by. Beds were soft, front desk was helpful and we had a good time

Great place! Kids had sooo much fun. Only critique was staff at restaurants were not motivated…. But other than that we had a wonderful time.

Having booked a 3 day stay for approx $1,000 , I was NOT expecting to pay for PARKING @ $20.00 per day....i think that is a ridiculous expectation to pay to park on the hotel property. Also didn't feel there was enough of the water park for the price....the Cabana rental for the day was $200 , also a Ridiculous price to pay.... Overall I felt the Staff was Great, but what you get for the price you pay was not worth coming back. The room I rented was a Loft, which was pretty nice, nothing exceptional. I would Not Recommend Anyone sleeping on the pull out couch...it was awful, the mattress was just Springs.

Great area in Michigan. Staff was helpful. Clean room and parking was so convenient. For sure family friendly.

The 9 year old boys liked the water park although the amount of chlorine - even in the air! - hurt everyone’s eyes. Everything else came with a price tag even after the high room rate. Few healthy eating options. Charged $30 for two towels that were returned, claiming after the fact that they were not. Choose a beach front hotel and visit Pirate’s Cove instead next time would be my advice.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well-maintained and clean. The only areas for improvement are the fitness center, as there are no weights, bars, or weight machines, and the parking fee, which is quite expensive. In my opinion, it doesn’t make sense to charge guests for parking when they are already paying to stay at the hotel.

Paying $20 a day (plus 6% sales tax!) to park on top of already steep room rates is ridiculous given the location and huge parking lots! Makes no sense except as a money grab.

Requested top floor room in advance, didn’t get one on arrival. People upstairs were stomping and jumping around until 1am, security was sent the first time and didn’t even knock on the door. Sent a second time and only after they were caught lying about confronting the noisy room did they actually ask the people to quiet down. First request was at 11:30pm, issue not resolved until 1am! Ridiculous.
