Now once we got there the place was spotless, rooms spacious and in particular the bathroom and shower areas very clean ( my biggest demand...a clean bathroom) and well stocked....this past with flying colors. Seem to have a good level of technology that worked. The breakfast was very typical and well kept, well stocked and clean ie: no cheerios in the gravy...which was hot and tasty. The staff was friendly and very helpful as well as professional Overall super place for the $$$$ and would highly recommend to everyone.

Clean facility and helpful staff. Upon entering my room, I noticed a terrible smell coming from the Univent blower (mechanical, oily smell -- perhaps due to recent maintenance??). I asked the desk clerk if I could move rooms. She called her manager to share my concerns, but did not have another vacant room. They tried an ozone cleaning machine in the room, to no avail. They were eventually able to move me to another room due to a late cancellation. I appreciate the desk clerk working with me to rectify the situation.

The room was clean and comfortable I wish there was a coffee station in the room. There was beer for sale in the lobby and we were told we couldn’t take it to our room because of the liquor license. If we bought it outside we could. As things were, we were told if we purchased alcohol at the hotel we’d have to drink it in the lobby.

Location close to downtown TC but far enough to be out of the traffic. Rooms clean, breakfast good. Dogs allowed. Like dogs but not a fan of them barking and howling. Hotel is for comfort and to relax and sleep.

This is a nice, clean, modern and basic motel. The lobby area is fun. We had a king room one bed and it was fine for two people. I would absolutely go back!

I wasn’t impressed with our stay. When we arrived to the room it was very clean but as soon as we sat on the bed it creaked so bad. You couldn’t even move around on it without a terrible creaking sound. For the price we paid I would expect a better bed. Not only did the bed creak terribly it was very uncomfortable I had a hard time sleeping. They need to invest in better beds and frames. I did go to the front desk and ask if we could switch rooms or have our bed be fixed. They said there was nothing they could do and that they couldn’t fix the box spring. I’m not sure why they would allow people to stay in that room when they knew the condition of the bed prior. They said they could switch us to a queen room the next day but we paid for a king and with 2 adults and a dog a queen bed wasn’t an option. Wasn’t impressed with how they handled the situation we weren’t reimbursed for any of the stay. I wouldn’t stay here again we made do the three days we stayed but for the price it’s not worth it. We never got to try the breakfast because it ends at 9:00 normally it would end at 10:00 considering people sleep in on vacation. My only highlights is they’re dog friendly and our room was clean other than that it was not a great place to stay. I wouldn’t recommend.

Hotel was clean, staff was accommodating and breakfast was good. Only downfall was you could hear people walking, etc. on the floor above.

The reception staff and the breakfast staff and room cleaners are excellent!

The property was very clean, and the breakfast bar was presented very well! I wanted to take the whole set up home with me! It was a quiet hotel and the mattress was very comfortable I would go back. The only complaint is the signage, we drove by it first and had to turn around. Its on a service drive next to McDonalds. You see the hotel before you see the small sign on a community sign.... Traverse City needs to allow a better road sign to that service road. The hotel I enjoyed once I got there :)

I have stayed at many hotels in TC, and I liked this one the best, especially for the price too.

The bed wasn't comfortable and we struggled to find a comfortable temperature setting. Other than that, everything was great.
