Let me start by saying the view and beach were wonderful . Started on first day whenn the room key didnt work an hour after we checked in . Then again that night after dinner . Then againn the next day . Manager ( I assume) said she would have door cleaned . Never happened, and I finally asked the maint man myself . Still didnt work . She never took acre of the problem or offered anything for the 20 trips back to the front desk . Staff other than her were friendly . Lounge staff was nice as well . Unfortunately the next trip to Traverse, wont be here.

Nice place, beach was very clean. Would be nice if there were umbrellas available. The bar/restaurant is wonderful!! The bartenders and waitstaff were fantastic. The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel itself could be a little cleaner. The floors and rugs need cleaning. Rooms are a bit overpriced for the level of cleanliness. Need fans in the bathrooms as well.

Room was clean; the only thing that we really didn’t like, was that the refrigerator wasn’t a refrigerator, it was like a cooler, & you had to put ice inside it to keep your stuff cold. Otherwise, it was a nice, clean room.

We had a great dinner in the hotel restaurant!

Very helpful and friendly Staff. Having their own transportation available to us was tremendously convenient. Shuttle driver Carlos was awesome and got us to and from our dinner, bars and concert
-
Great spot with beach access out our back door! Clean towels & supplies replenished each day. Pool & hot tub a bonus!

No need to go anywhere. This hotel has it all. A beach, bar, restaurant, indoor pool, balcony, suits, and it goes on and on.

The beach was very nice and easily accessible. We enjoyed the hot tub also. The breakfast buffet was good with a variety of foods.

Very clean, located right on the beach. Very friendly staff, the restaurant was delicious open for breakfast and dinner with full bar. Perfect location in Traverse City.

Our stay was pleasant and we would definitely stay there again. We stayed in room 407 which is a spacious Jacuzzi suite at the end of the hotel overlooking the beach and gazebo next to the hotel. We even got to see the bride before the wedding began. The balconies at the room are very small and the two chairs take up most of it but the beach side view is awesome and you don't get the traffic noise. We were able to see the stunning sunrise and sunsets over the calm waters. If you want to walk, run or bike, the TC state park is located directly across the street and the Traverse City Recreation Trail runs along the other side of it. The weekday free breakfast selection was barely average and didn’t have a waffle machine. The weekend breakfast buffet was just over $10 and appeared to basically be all of the items that would probably be available on the weekdays. They had live music in the weekend dining area the night before and it didn’t look like they vacuumed after that. The biggest negative were several spots of mold along the bottom edge of the shower in our room.

Waterfront location is great

Good view of East bay. Beds were comfortable. Has a restaurant. May have a fire pit on beach,

Hotel needs major updates, old furniture, about a two in gap under every room door. Beat up doors with holes. Mini fridge don’t really work. Needs improvement. Staff was kind and friendly.

No working clock in room. Room phone did not work. Could not order room service. Curtains did not fit door wall missing cyrtain panel. Could hear the people next door until 4am. Family vacation here for last 6 years. They let the property get wore out. Mattress was old and wore out. Going to take my family down the street.

The beach out your door was great. Room needs updating. AC could be better. Old motel mildew smell.
