The beach was the best part of this stay. Room was not clean, Older, bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The staff was the worst part. I was hung up on when she didn’t like what I was saying. I never raised my voice just tried to have a conversation. I have never been treated that way. I then told the gentleman manager and he didn’t care one bit then acted like he didn’t know who she was. I loved the town and will be back but I highly recommend to all stay somewhere else.

Great views. Old property. Floors were dirty, sounds from room above were loud( tv, walking around) sounded like they were in our room. Ran out of towels, no room cleaning when staying multiple nights. I will not be back.

The office staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and well-organized. The view of the bay from the balcony was very nice and enjoyable.

Clean room nice balcony

We were the only room with an uncovered balcony and to our surprise the only room with a room ABOVE us with very active children in residence! We will never return to this place!

First of all that is dated back in the 70s with drywall patches 4‘ x 8‘ above bedrooms and above the tub all cracked spiders insects no dusting spiderwebs awful place. Never stay there again.

Was fine water and beach was fun along with the pool

The property needs updating. Our room was very worn and not very clean. The staff was very kind.

Spacious place, with beautiful views. However room was dirty, hair on floor and in tub and shower areas. Food stains on cabinets. Window in bed room looked as though it was ready to fall out and was cracked open and couldn’t close. With that it was very noisy. Staff when checking out could have cared less about it. Had the unit been properly cleaned and window repaired correctly and staff were more pleasant would have had 5 stars across the board.

I loved the sea view and the spaciousness of the place. However, we couldn’t sleep because the air-conditioning unit was extremely loud. We also had to climb 40 steps every time we went up to the apartment, which was exhausting, especially with our luggage.

Paid $400 for one night just for one of the main amenities to not work. The room itself looks nothing like the pictures. The only thing you're paying for is the location. Everything is old and worn down, definitely not worth $400 for ONE night.

Nice

The location, lakefront and pool are the reason to book this place. If you're willing to overlook dated furniture, wall pictures and spa tub in the living space, the view really made up for it. The breakfast could really use some more fresh fruit options, but it was nice to have the fresh coffee each morning. Staff is friendly, as are all the other guests. Fires on beach each night were lovely. 5-10 minutes to downtown Traverse City, depending on traffic. 40 to Sleeping Bear Dunes.

The rooms could use updating but otherwise great location and the girl at the front desk was very helpful and kind.

Room was laid out kinda dumb with the hot tub in the room ... room wasn't fancy but clean . Next time I'll stay without a hot tub . Had a fantastic view from our room and other than the hot tub, it was good. Staff was very helpful and nice .

First thing you need to know is the mattress is terrible, I have had better at $100 a night motel. Second is the shower, it changes water temp on its own a lot. I had on a pair of white socks and walked around on the hard floor and socks got really dirty in an hour. The breakfast is a joke, packaged muffins and cereal and bad coffee. We were there two nights and there was only one roll of tp, had to go to office to get another one. You are paying for the beach and it is a nice one, so if you can put up with the room and are a beach person, $300 plus a night might be worth it to you, NOT ME!

Staff was great and private beach was nice but the rooms are old and very outdated, the AC unit is right above the bed and is very loud, the shower is so small I barely fit in it. You have to open the shower curtain to bend over and wash your feet and they only service the room after 3 days, so our trash was overflowing.

We were in a room behind the pool. People swimming were directly outside our patio door ( we were in a 1st floor room). The " patio" for our room, too small to use. The room: toilet was wobbly, the toilet seat, bathroom door handle, and bathroom vent were falling off. Areas around the shower area were yellow and didn't look clean. We didn't turn on the jetted tub because it looked dirty. The room was horrible. The lady at the desk when we got there was nice. They keep their beach area clean and there's a nice fire pit. Overall, I do think it's the worst room we have ever rented on any trip.
