Beach is steps behind it

Proximity to the beach was great, easy walking to gift shops and restaurants. It wasn’t very clean, it had one small window unit that was very dirty that cooled the whole room. There was no fan or ac in the bathroom. Make sure to bring your own towels and coffee cups because they are not supplied.

Location. Price. Kitchenette. Pool. Broken showerhead. Light in shower out. No instructions for tv/channels. Trash on side of building not in containers with lids so blowing all over parking lot. No floor map for leaving shower. Older facility with out dated tile etc.

11580 Gilf Blvd June 22, 2026 No bath towels in room. Only 2 washclothes. Had to request linens twice before receiving at noon the following day because "they were busy" and "ran out". No hand towels or hand soaps either were in our room on arrival. Toilet seat round does not fit oval toilet. See picture attached. My husband cannot sit on the small ring. It is very small and he has to lift it and sit directly on the toilet: it is totally unsanitary.  Bathroom smelled like urine at arrival. We felt the need to clean and spray with air freshener/lysol we brought before use. Under the bathroom sink, there is a large hole in the wall that allows you to see the wall of the adjacent room. Is this a building code violation? Photo attached There are no trash containers on property common areas except two inside enclosed pool area. They were full and trash was overflowing at pool cans onto the ground. See pictures attached. Strong Marijuana smell on property from time of arrival. In the evening we could not sit outside the room or by pool due to strong odor. It is supposed to be a non-smoking property. Air conditioner in room is also dirty. Photos overview and close ups are attached. Parking is limited and not guaranteed on site. The offered solution is a parking lot at a sister property and walking to the motel. I am not comfortable leaving my vehicle at another location and should not have to do so causing us to hesitate to even go out.  One of us has an issue with walking distance so parking off site defeats the purpose. The room was booked with mini-suite. The small flat top range does not heat up. Buttons light up but it will not get warm or hot. There is not a fire extinguisher in the room either.

The room was nice Could’ve been a bit cleaner. There was a doll left on the top bunk bed which made me feel like the sheets on that bed weren’t changed because the cleaner would’ve noticed the doll and removed it.

Came for sons birthday So much fun cute little beach shack vibes, pools great spent most of our stay there oceans near by 10/10 can't wait to visit again! And there's a Publix and gas station 2 mins away and much more. My kids have the time of their life, the other visitors were also very nice. Oh and lots of outside chilling space if you don't want to be indoors all day! I just didn't like that it said there was a microwave and there wasn't, also I saw a stove on the pictures I had made a Walmart order and a lot of the stuff was quick microwave snacks to save some money from eating out every day... that didn't Work out so be prepared to either grill or eat out but they did offer to see if they can try to locate one and bring a microwave and I said it was no big deal.

Perfect Nothing

Location was nice right next to the beach. Bed was sandy. Felt unclean.

It was by the beach. Our toilet was broken and had no hot water. Trash was piled up around the pool and the pool was never checked the entire stay.

Location Cleanliness

Electronic door lock The place needs torn down. Major disrepair. No staff on site. Soffet rotted and falling in, pool filthy, no ice machine, beach shower in dis repair, exposed elec wiring on what was a light timer, outdoor housekeeping closet under steps was broken into as lock hasp was ripped off, inside closet bedding laying on dirty floor. Broken glass on pool deck, I swept up, had to buy a cordless vacuum to do so. Sign says “all new rooms”. Black mold in room shower, had to clean before use. In short milton/helene need to come back and finish the job. I wasnt gonna say anything but YOU ASKED. Sorry but not sorry.

Good location. Poor amenities. Coffee maker not working. No you sheet on 1 of the beds. No extra toilet paper.

The rooms were clean, and the pool was professionally cleaned every morning. We do a lot of cooking while on vacation, and they provided a propane grill along with propane. When the propane tank ran out, Carlos had it replaced within an hour, which we appreciated. That said, there are a couple of areas where improvements could be made. We stayed for over a week and rented two rooms because we had a group of 10 people traveling together (five in each room). I was told that each person would receive two towels for the duration of our stay. However, each room only had six towels and washcloths, so as you can imagine, we needed fresh ones midway through the week. I texted the general number, as directed by the sign in the office, and was told that they provided enough towels to get our vacation started, but that we could wash them ourselves in the guest laundry facility on-site. Unfortunately, the laundry room was locked. After informing them of that, we were directed to their sister hotel to exchange our towels and washcloths. It wasn’t a huge issue, and honestly, I was willing to overlook it. I understand they are a small business doing the best they can. Another thing worth mentioning is that there is no ice machine on the property. While not a deal-breaker, it would certainly be a nice convenience for guests filling coolers every day during a beach vacation. Overall, none of these things significantly impacted our experience. We are a very easygoing family and were happy to work around the minor inconveniences.

Location, pool Property was poorly maintained. The building was in poor condition, the grounds were not groomed or maintained. Room were not updated.

This property is perfect for anyone but especially families. It’s on the beach side. It’s only two floors so it’s easily accessible for almost anyone. The pool is clean, and the chairs are clean and comfortable. Each room has its own chairs under the awning as well to relax anytime. The room is the perfect size and is equipped with anything you need for cooking, showering, and sleeping. N/a

Good area No parking, could be more updated

The location was great. I didn't like the check-in/out process. The shower was really small and tight. I'm pretty small (I'm 5'0" and 120 lbs) and was hitting my arms on the walls trying to wash myself.
