DoubleTree by Hilton Tulsa Downtown

This was almost a perfect stay. The staff was amazing. The meatballs and carrots at the restaurant were beyond delicious. The staff were incredible. Three bathroom had a couple of issues. The shower head was so low it was at chin level. The tub dripped all night and the wallpaper was slightly peeling. In spite of this the bed was fantastic. The food was incredible and was served lightning fast. They even had a welcome message on the TV with my name on it. A five star experience for sure.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the temperature in the room was easily controlled. At the time of my departure, an employee went out of the way to fill my travel cup with ice for me.

They did not bring me sheets after hours and hours of asking, they brought wet sheets, then brought dirty sheets, then after I walked them down, they never brought sheets and I sleep with one sheet. The last time I was there I had to change rooms because there were dirty hand towels hanging from the shower bar. I don't want to comment on what that might have been from but it was gross. I mean the restaurant was nice, breakfast was great. The staff was nice, but they have a big disconnect it seems like. The window from the parking garage was still broke from my August 26th stay until my stay September 21. It looked trashy. The hotel was in a good location but needs a little help. Some towels were older. I mean it was maybe a 5 out of 10 then with the issues with the sheets I give it a 4 out of 10. Now the manager did address the issue, so I'll give them that. but I'm a guest at a hotel, I want to sleep in a nice clean place with clean sheets that is number one and that failed after 4 phone calls.

When I checked in I was informed that i need to pay $50 per room for incendentles. We at at the hotel restaurant the service was slow, food was expensive and was not good sent 2 of 3 meals back.

Really nice stay at the DoubleTree Tulsa Downtown. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and I genuinely enjoyed my room. The standout for me was the generously sized pool - big enough to actually swim laps, which is exactly what I hope for in a hotel. The hotel bar was great too, perfect for winding down in the evening. Would happily stay here again.

The stay was outstanding and my Driver Atthur was great and he made my stay beyond welcoming and very comfortable. I appreciate his kindness and love for his job and culture.

Nice place, friendly staff. Well cared for and managed. A little bit older property, but kept in nice shape.
