Days Inn by Wyndham Tupelo

I didn't get to stay for my booking. When I arrived, the attendant informed me that though I ask for non smoking, only smoking was available..and they were booked up. So, even though they would not refund my reservation, I had to go pay for a room in the next town. I have stayed a Days Inn several times. Service was always friendly and the rooms were descent for a quick stay. This disappointed me. We could not stay in a room with smoke in it..my husband is allergic. There was no attempt to rectify it..just a "sorry we can spray the room and see if that helps! " Booted out of non smoking reservation

The bed was comfortable. This is the first room I have ever stayed in without a coffee pot. The bed pillows look like toddler pillows.

Location Very bad experience. I thought anything with Wyndham name on it had to be better. I’ve had a Wyndham time share in the past. By far worst room I ever tried to stay in. The room was dirty, could see thru stained wash clothes, everything smelled so bad of cigarette smoke the smell got in our clothes. Sink broke. Had to hold faucet knob to turn it on. Breakfast was about non existent.

Clean beds and good hot shower. Very noisy noisy location on a loud busy road. Noisy neighbors. Steel bed frame made lots of noise when I moved. Rusty microwave. Old refer makes wheezing noises when it runs. Available electrical outlets are shot. Phone was dead. Had to go to front office for assistance.

Ok nothing exceptional Room was on top floor in Alcove number 221. Was not where expected. The room next to it was 201. This Room was hard to find climbed stairs several times. Room should have been numbered 201a because of its location. Parking was bad because staff allowed a truck with trailer to park in side front where I was suppose to park and took up 5 parking spaces. Should have parked trailer near back of property ? Toilet seat was broken as well.

Staff was rude. Breakfast time is very short 6.30 to 8.30 am.

Smoking odor was very strong

Very friendly, courteous staff. Comfortable room. Very quiet for being on a high traffic corridor. Limited breakfast selection when I was there.

Stained bedding, crumbs on the sheets, dark curly hairs in beds and not changed bed sheets. Bed & pillows were uncomfortable. Light not working in tge bathroom area, no toiletries. Microwave was rusty, Fridge was dirty, floor was dirty with broken chocolate sweet on floor. Tv noise from next door all night & early in the morning. Cars reving up outside. We got no sleep. Reception smelt, breakfast area was small, there was lack of food & choice, felt uncomfortable with the staff in reception as they weren't friendly. We won't be using it again and as part of a tour group we will be telling others about our bad experience.

Staff was great. Room was a normal clean motel room. Nothing special not horrible. Our room was by the metal staits had noisy tenants above us the entire stay so we got almost no sleep since the floors are nowhere near sound proof.
