Red Roof Inn Tupelo

The room we were originally given smelled significantly of smoke. I reported the issue to the front desk clerk and we were given a different room immediately. The second room was clean and comfortable.

We had a clean room, the air was on when we checked in so it was cool instead of being hot.

Definitely a musty/unclean smell in the rooms and it didn't seem clean enough. We'd found stains on the bed sheets and you could tell it needed a good sweep/vacuum. The receptionist at night seemed annoyed with asking a few questions and just had a ticked off demeanor. The woman in the early AM was kind though.

Super clean both inside and out, friendly staff and good free breakfast

The room was spacious and the main part clean, however, the bathroom shower was in horrible condition. The tile and grout were dirty and in very poor shape. Would not recommend. We showered with flip flops and quickly. We didn't use any of the amenities or have breakfast so cannot comment on them.

They canceled my stay and didn’t even call me then lied about it when I showed up at midnight I had to drive around and look for a open room in the middle of the night

Very clean rooms and easy check in. Pool was a little small but clean. Only negative is breakfast options were limited to sugary items like waffles, cereal, and muffins...no real protein or healthy options besides fruit.

My stay was just totally pleasant. This hotel really defines value. I really can’t think of anything.

Rooms were fine but safe didn't work in either of the two rooms I booked. One room was right across from an outside seating area, which was noisy at all hours. Also, housekeeping carts started at 6am and were very noisy on the first floor. The other room i booked for a relative was on the second floor and quieter. Decent value for the money.

Breakfast was good. Asked for a room on the top floor. Got an email saying my request had been approved. Got there, woman was cold and not very welcoming. Got stuck on the first floor right by the door. Idk if the wind was blowing it making it rattle but it sounded like someone was trting to break in all night and jarring the door.

The property is close to eating and entertainment. I don’t have any complaints about the property or stay.

Great continental breakfast, waffles, muffins, yogurt, fruit, cereal and juices. Room was just a room, nothing special, served its purpose to provide us a place to sleep!

Shower gel container was empty; and though the bathtub looked sparkling clean, I could not see a way to fill it. Had to settle for a shower and use soap from bathroom sink. I guess I prefer old fashioned bar soap?

The pictures are very misleading. The property was not clean, the bathtubs were dirty and toilets belonged in a scary movie. The sheets had yellow stains and floors were sticky. We originally booked for two rooms for two nights but ended up not staying for more than 30 mins. They told me I had to pay for one night but the other night would be returned. Needless to say I’m still waiting for my money back. Don’t waste your money especially if you are traveling with children.
