Ameristar Casino Hotel Vicksburg

Truly one of the most disgusting reservations I have ever made on Expedia. The entire property is filthy - greasy floors, trash behind the curtain, smoky pillows, sticky carpet and even graffiti on the furniture in the room with things scratched into it. The staff very fine and very pleasant. I recognize that this is located to be convenient to the casino across the road, but it was truly too awful even for a night. We could not find an alternative. This is on me for leaving it till late. We had children with us. It was late. We slept with our clothes on.

Front desk were really nice and tried everything to try to accommodate us I had. No hot water in room with jacuzzi maintenance was suppose to come and never showed was given another room i. Which was not clean had to get sheets and make own bed i. Suite that I could not smoke in after I booked and paid for 2 days before

Do not stay here. Room was dirty and the hotel needs a complete renovation.

When we checked in we had to go back downstairs to get toilet paper and wash clothes. The light in the sink area was out, and the air-conditions did not work. We only stayed 2 hour and left and went and found a nicer, cleaner hotel with all the systems operating. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

My TV wasn’t working and I called the front desk and she said she was going to send someone up and didn’t. And didn’t offer to change my room and stopped answering the phone

This place was a total dump, we pulled up to a hotel we thought was in a casino but it’s actually across the street. The picture in the app is not what you will find. The casino walking in smells like straight up roaches and weed. The hotel bathroom had hair in the tub and smells like weed.

Even though the water wasn't functioning properly (in the whole city not just this hotel), the staff was helpful and accommodating despite not having working water. Also the hotel was clean.

This was my first stay at Ameristar Property. I found it to be clean and has friendly staff. Thanks, Sandra Cobb. I wish you had a shuttle to transport guest to the casino👍

Hotel and the room itself was very clean and up to date! Felt safe and a beautiful river view. Will definitely stay again on roadtrips.

Run down property. Cleaning and upkeep does not appear to be a priority- also was not clear that the casino is not on property- a shuttle or few min drive. My non smoking room smelled like an ashtray- local staff did move me to a room that was better

The hotel was not customer satisfaction friendly at all!!! I couldn’t get xtra coffe paper cups because they were counted. No garbage bags in the garage cans at all. It wasn’t a good experience for me.

It was close to everything, that was about it. Seedy characters. Parking lot was not monitored or well lit. Tons of cars with no handicap tags or placards taking up all of the handicap parking spaces.

Clerk 45 min to find reservation. Was delayed Better communication with billing.com. Not easy to access and I won’t do this again

Nothing Room was not clean: mold on picture in bathroom, toilet was dirty with stains, shower curtain was dirty, safe was not working, glass shards in the carpet, hair ball on night stand, window was dirty, just really dissatisfied.
