Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Virginia Beach (Oceanfront)

When I arrived I was told that I had been upgraded to a better room on the 8th floor. I told the desk clerk I wanted to stay on the ground floor because my husband smokes and it would be easier to find the smoking area from the ground floor. She said no rooms were available on the ground floor now. My point was I did not ask to be upgraded and I was not contacted on the change of rooms. I don’t think the room was any better on the 8th floor.

Go here. You won’t be disappointed. The bed is beyond amazing, with the sheets being the softest and most inviting sheets I have ever slept on, especially for a hotel. The staff was helpful and kind. The room was clean and had an amazing view of the beach.

Very nice clean room in a great location. Access to the beach is right out the back door, couldn’t ask for better. Perfect view of the ocean from the balcony. Staff were helpful and friendly, decent breakfast was available each morning. Only downside was we had to ask for towels each day, but it would definitely not prevent us from staying here again. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We were on the 8th floor. Long waits for elevator. No ice or vending on the floor. Hotel was not cool temps wise when walking inside

We were there for 5 days. Very supportive staff. The staff helped us get a larger room to accommodate us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The one maintenance issue was resolved immediately. Elevators are a little slow but I think that is due to guests holding the doors, not the elevators. Great beach access. Breakfast was plentiful, quickly refreshed and yummy.

A great property that was a great price for the season. It was close to everything and we had a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Very clean and helpful staff. We will stay here again.

Had an enjoyable vacation time with friends and family at this property. Staff was very helpful and Wendy was so kind with the whole check in process. I loved the convenience of the entertainment, shops and food. I would recommend this location and property for the whole family.

Clean rooms with a beach view. It's an older ocean front hotel they are doing their best to maintain. Good for value for visiting Virginia Beach.

Overrated.

Perfect for a family vacation with a child. Great location and attentive staff.

Room and view nice. Pool was cold and water was nasty. Breakfast was good. Parking isn't free like it says $15 a day per car. $250 accident fee is crazy high. All places ive stayed at the highest has been $100 and goes back in couple days. They said 5-7 days. Most places have chairs included cause you are paying that much to stay there... they charge for chair as well. Just felt like everything there was more money more money. Nothing is included and I felt like the place was high and looked nice and had good reviews so things should be included. Said parking was free online. Said the pool was heated online. Neither were. Just wasn't impressed.

A little run down and expensive, the door wouldn’t even open because it was broken.
