Aquarius Hotel

Front dest clerk was rude. We checked in and went to the room. - At the room the door was open because the maid had just started cleaning - I helped her clean the room because we didnt have an hour to wait for her to finish the room by herself. - Once clean we showered and went to dinner -When we got back to the room we're ready to go to bed, we realized comforter and blanket were filthy. - Attempted to call front desk - Phone was broken and didnt work - Went to front dest and the clerk was rude and we waited about 15 minutes for a blanket and sheets, no comforter. - We had to make the bed (I have photos and videos of these interactions) - We paid $60+ for the jacuzzi tub room. - There was no stopper to the tub - Went to clerk she stated she couldnt give us a stopper - I explained we paid extra for this reason - at this point its after midnight and we live hours away. - she stated we could go back to our room or get a refund and leave AFTER MIDNIGHT!!!! - The balcony wasnt cleaned there were ashes, blunts and other trash all over - This place is a disgusting dump - I have sooooo much more to say, but not enough characters. - Sheets and pillow cases were different colors - I also have videos and photos

Convenient location, spacious room

Don't waste your money, staff horrible check in at 4pm had to wait 1hr due to their only 1 cleaning lady.

When I requested that the room be cleaned and the bottles refilled, the staff only used a broom and did not address the other issues. Because these concerns were not properly resolved, I cannot recommend this hotel to others.

Also the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Like so much better than I was expecting.

The hotel was absolutely disgusting, there was mold on our shower curtain and chunks of dirt in the corners of the bathroom. When you pull the blankets back a cloud of dust formed it was so gross.!!! And parking was awful and there were people taking up spots that weren’t even guest there. I will never stay here again, $500 a night is what we paid and it was the worst.!

This property was poorly kept and not worth another stay or the price . The front desk people were never at the desk didn’t even have extra towels or napkins . There was only one elevator that was small as a box and barely functioned. The amenities in the room didn’t work and the balcony is leaning which is not safe for no person to be outside and able to lean on . Worst stay I’ve ever had while visiting the beach . The bathroom was small as a box and the old smell in the room just is stuck in my nose . Not a fan wouldn’t recommend a family Stay or to ever go back !

Staff was super helpful with us during check in. Room layout was good. The clientele however was sketch. You can hear arguing from the next room over, and that night I was there it was bad.

It has an amazing view of Virginia Beach.

I would like a refund from Expedia as this hotel should not be listed as an option because the Aquarius Hotel is a HEALTH HAZARD!! Cleanliness should be a negative 10...

Good location however, dirty as ever. Sand in sheets. Sand in pull out couch. Blow dryer didn’t work. Bathroom setup very slim to no space from toilet to bathtub. Spend the couple extra dollars to go somewhere else. Poor cleanliness.

I would not recommend this Hotel at all. Dirty, staff was not helpful at all. When we tried to check in we had to wait almost 5 hours before they would let us in. The room was not up to date and had mold everywhere. There price was not worth anything.

Pool water smelled, room was old and not well maintained, only one elevator for the entire place, parking lot is cramped

Let's start with the parking—it was terrible and very inconvenient. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. The baseboards were covered in dirt, there were watermelon seeds on the floor, the couch was dirty, the mirror had smudges, and there was hair on the bathroom floor. The bed sheets also appeared dirty, which was unacceptable. The bathroom was poorly designed. The toilet was positioned awkwardly and was unusually low to the floor, making it uncomfortable to use. Housekeeping did not service the room during our stay. When I asked a housekeeper for clean towels, I was told they didn't have enough available. There were also several maintenance issues. The door latch was not properly secured—it appeared to be held together with putty instead of screws. The stair steps were uneven, creating a potential safety hazard, and the elevator was extremely slow. Overall, while the hotel's location was excellent, the cleanliness, maintenance, housekeeping, and overall guest experience fell far below expectations. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

Beautiful view of the beach but the room could of been cleaner && the elevator is very sketchy!!

The room was clean..but let’s talk about the bathroom..dirty wash clothes behind the door, I know it’s the beach, but sand on the floor as you enter the room? Come on maaaan. The hallway had filth and debris in it. I guess the staff dosent care about cleanliness.

For the price I paid I was disappointed. The pull out couch bed mattress was nasty and real thin you could feel the metal very uncomfortable. Had to ask twice about small refrigerator it wasn't getting cold they got the freezer to work but the bottom part still didn't work.
