Very disappointed in the internal appearance and all the traffic coming into the hotel only to have one elevator working was ridiculous. It was also not clean in our room and consider changing out the beds. They are horrible

Of course late check-in because the room wasn't ready yet. Obviously it happens a lot, a lot of upset people. Supposed to check in at 4:00 room wasn't ready until 6: 30.Two and a half hour late check-in for them to have one of their elevators not working and send me up to an occupied room. Had to wait on the elevators again to wait in line didn't get into my actual room until 7:00 in the evening. I went to park my car and they had forgotten to give me my parking pass. So you would think they would give me a nice late check out the next day nope got cocky on the phone and said that I had to be checked out by 11:00 AM the place is understaffed and horrible attitudes with the employees the only helpful employee would have been the kid at the concierge desk I feel so they owe me a free night just for all of the aggravation

Around some great food places and really enjoyed the water view. Only one elevator. Had to wait a while in coming & going. Toilet wasn’t flushing at first and water took a while to get hot . Plus the water didn’t go straight down if running in bathroom sink like you have close the sink up.

The rooms weren’t clean and my kids and I had to wear shoes because the floor turned out feet black. Check-in is supposed to be at 4 PM, but we were not able to get into our room until 6:30 PM. We were told that the rooms weren’t ready, and when we were finally able to get to our room, our keys didn’t work. I asked the front desk how we were supposed to go out to dinner if we can’t get back in our room, and she suggested a security member escort as up to open our door as we needed, however, there were so many other guests whose keys didn’t work, there was about a 30 minute wait time. We signed up for late checkout, but we had people knocking on the door by 10:30 AM. Also, the elevators aren’t working. I think there was one functioning elevator our experience was unfortunately pretty bad I fully would’ve expected a refund, but no one said they could help with that and get refunded and get a different hotel, but they said they were unable to cancel it because their systems were down.

HOWEVER there was only one working elevator for the entire hotel, for the duration of our day! One of the evenings, we were going to use the elevator and she told us that both of the elevators were being serviced at that time! How is it even legal for a hotel with 18 floors to have no elevators? There was a constant wait to use an elevator. During check-in, I saw a line going across the whole front of the hotel to get into the elevator. We went to check out at 8 AM and there was no one out front desk. We literally waited 15 minutes and no one came out to front desk. We left the keys, and left. One of the other guests in the elevator told us that the day that they checked in, the whole system was down and none of the keys worked! And last but not least, housekeeping did not come to our room one single time in five days. We had to go to front desk to get towels, and toilet paper. The facility has the potential to be awesome. It seems to me like a big case of mismanagement!

Well, the staff was great. Unfortunately I booked during a system outage which became chaos. They couldn’t get us in our rooms

They only had 1 elevator working and we were on the 15th floor so our wait time was crazy long. The night we stayed the power went out 9 TIMES. My husband had to climb 15 flights of stairs to get back up to the room because the power kept going out. The toliet was making loud gurgling sounds all night. The hot water was spurting out because there was air in the pipes so we had to use cold water all night.

My table in my room was dirty the dresser was dirty broken glass in the cabinet bathtub was dirty had to clean before we used it

Hotel is understaffed (staff working was kind) with one working elevator for 18 floors. No dining or parking on site. The indoor pool is adults only. There is a family one that you can access at the property next door. Weather was bad so we couldn’t go outside so indoor pools was the only option. We lost power and running water for the night and hotel refused any compensation. Beds are full sized, not queens with very uncomfortable pillows and mattresses. Would not recommend this place, no matter how good the deal is. Very disappointed with our stay.

The place was great! I loved the outdoor areas and our room was very spacious. The location is right on the beach and it made it easy to go from the beach to the pools. The balcony was nice and felt private. While we were there, the elevator broke. Then the only other one broke. The staff escorted people up and down the staff elevators and they were so nice - even when some guests weren’t. My only note had to do with the bathroom. It was a nice bathroom but the tub was a jet tub which made it difficult to get in and out with bad knees because it was so high. Also the toilet was very low. Don’t let that stop you from booking because this place was the best place we have stayed at Virginia Beach.

I’m always a bit skeptical when booking an oceanfront room waiting until I get the to be disappointed but to my surprise this was as close to perfect as I think I could have gotten excellent job Hilton Oceanaire

Main adult pool was covered in scum, had one elevator which bounced with loading / unloading. Our room a/c was awful two vents pointing straight down with poor flow, lamp was broken, door required a ridiculous amount of effort to open/ close/ metal box springs squeak, the tub would not turn off completely, no privacy from balcony. Location is great and Tortugas is amazing! Staff was hit or miss definitely not overly attentive. We were on 15 th floor and had a studio which was spacious and had most of the sand cleaned up from the previous occupants.

Staff was horrible, had to figure out everything on my own by asking other people who were staying at the hotel.

Our room had a partial view of the beach, it was nice and roomy enough. The room was nice with a small kitchen and a balcony.
