Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel

The staff here is exceptional. I had an issue that needed resolved involving the room we were staying in and Ashley and Alli were incredibly helpful and taking care of everything. They ended up being able to find us an additional room which made the stay that much better. The staff here is always incredibly friendly. The facility is in exceptional condition and at a great location as well. I’ve stayed here before and will stay here again.

No parking avaliable because they sell their spots to the public also. Waited til almost 7pm to check in because the room was being cleaned. Ice machine was broke on the fourth floor. Shampoo and conditioner were empty but I had brought my own. The mini fridge was frozen over and didn't cool that good.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff very helpful, courteous, great service. Looking forward to future stay.

Stay was good, We had a good time. Breakfast in the Hotel could be better but there other alternatives. Front Desk was friendly and helpful

The bathroom was very small, balcony very small. Late check in, they said 4 we got there 4 and the room was not ready, had to wait another hour.

My room had direct access to the pool and the beach it was really convenient also the room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back

Arrived on Saturday checked out Friday only had room cleaned twice. Made request at front desk one day and was not cleaned. Housekeepers couldn’t speak English. Room door would hardly open and shut had to crash into door to open. Toilet paper holder broke. Square under sink broken and hanging. Dim lighting in bathroom so impossible to apply makeup. Mattress was sagging and uncomfortable. Would not recommend to my friends and family when there are so many other oceanfront hotels in the area

Room was 80 degrees with the ac on full blast. It was dirty, the staff was rude. The pool was absolutely disgusting. The breakfast buffet was so terrible we left our food and paid almost $20 a piece for nothing. The ice makers on every floor were broken or had no ice. There is only one set of elevators for the cleaning staff and people staying in the hotel so you waited forever and then had to ride the elevator with the cleaning carts. It was just awful from start to finish.

Room size was fine We liked the location. The oceanfront view was great The only negative was the bathroom size. It was very small- there was no room to move an inch. You had to close the door to have room but then it became too hot and no air circulated in there. Unfortunately this will be a factor in booking again

My only issue is the room I booked for as described online to have a door between the bed area and the sleeper sofa area in the suite. I specifically booked this room for that reason but upon check-in, there was no door. I did not ask to change rooms as we were only there one night but it would be great if the online description matched the actual room. Other than that, I would stay here again. Helpful and friendly staff, easy access to the beach and boardwalk.

The location. Truly steps from the water. Multiple things. I didn't get the room I requested. At check in time house keeping we're still cleaning. I settled for another room as we were already 2 hrs past check in. Then after the cleaning delay my room shower was dirty as if the shower was passed during housekeeping. For the price the value received was subpar.

Not worth the price

Loved the hotel, particular its fantastic location right on the boardwalk literally a few steps from the beach. Generally clean, well presented with mostly helpful and attentive staff. Room was spacious, clean and regularly serviced. Could have done with a few basics in the room such as crockery and a teaspoon, and a light in the kitchen area and main room would definitely have been helpful. Had to move the only lamp from the dressing table to the bedside table - no other lights (at all) in the room! The air-con was excellent if a little noisy but the 'white noise' was easy to get used to. Buffet breakfast was sometimes excellent, other times very depleted, limited and not particularly well replenished (on a couple of days there was no bread, one day no milk and a couple of days the bananas were well past their best). All in all a very pleasant two week stay, beautiful dining room, lovely shaded area and clean pool area (could have done with a few more towels). A few very basic tweaks could lift this from very good to excellent. Would have no hesitation in booking to stay here again.

Friendly staff clean room great location

We arrived to check in at 5:40 pm and were told that our room wasn't available due to cleaning (Unacceptable), Was given 1 free drink ticket. While sitting at the bar I met a gentleman that said he had been there since 2 pm waiting on his room. The staff did not seem interested or concerned that the lobby/bar/restaurant was full of Frustrated families with thier luggage trying to check in. We finally checked in at 8:50pm our first day in Virginia Beach completely ruined due to the Sheraton and it's staff (No forms of compensation was offered) the Sofa in the room was soiled and broken, The Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, AC unit banged and made loud noises while on, There were fleas in the room, the carpet was soiled and dirty, bathroom was so small you must close the door to door on the toilet, the lobby drop-off was always packed with unattended cars that blocked each other in. This Property and Company are a Complete disaster if this is the way thier customers are treated.

Friendly staff They sold my reservation, we had to stay in a lower grade room. No discount or refund.

Location No wifi, our room wasnt ready until 8pm, we asked for extra blankets, never got them.
