They cleaned my room only once in four nights, and the day they did they only fixed the beds everything was left dirty so n counter tops and bathrooms. I feel the rooms could’ve been kept a lot cleaner .

Hotel was beautiful, conveniently located and the rooms are the perfect size and super clean. You're right near Pocahontas Pancake (totally worth the wait, too!), Mellow Mushroom, Ben & Jerry's. The best part - ALL of the rooms are oceanfront rooms! The valet team was great and available 24/7. They were so great when I just needed to grab something out of the car - they brought it right up for us! I would say the only downside was that the night of the concert, they only had one valet employee working and the parking lot was chaotic at midnight trying to get the cars in to the parking area. Please note - this did NOT take away from our stay and would absolutely NOT make me change my 5 star rating. The valet employee handled it like a champ and continued to deliver top notch customer service while remaining calm in chaos. This is the only hotel we will stay at going forward when visiting VA Beach and I've been recommending it to everyone! Can't wait to come back with my kiddo in August!

Modern and stylish, very clean, comfortable beds, friendly and polite staff. Superb location. We really enjoyed this hotel, and we’ll surely be back. Providing water in the rooms is currently a good standard for all top hotels. Hyatt place Virginia Beach would only benefit by considering this small expense for the benefit of their guests.

We stayed a total of 5 nights in Virginia Beach at the Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Oceanfront. We were in a room on the 11th floor which had a balcony overlooking the ocean. One thing I forgot about Hyatt hotels - they are space saving - open multifunctional with open wardrobes and hooks on the wall with a bar style to save space which I am not a fan of. We had a king bed with the sofa bed but it was just my husband and I and if we had another traveler we would not have room for their stuff or all of us together. The shower - I travel a lot and I am picky about my water pressure - most hotels suck in this department but Hyatt hit the nail on the head with this one, very good shower pressure! The lights could be brighter and a fan would be nice - it got hot in that bathroom after taking a shower. The room has a small microwave and small fridge. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The balcony was probably the best part and we enjoyed it. There is also a terrace on the 10th floor with a beautiful view of the beach. You can rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach, that was a plus with a walk right out to the beach and I did not need to bring a thing. Breakfast is decent, at least they have it and it’s free otherwise there’s plenty of places around. Staff was very nice. If you use valet parking, it gets very busy. Restaurants: Orions Rooftop, Cavalier hotel for brunch or any meal, Chops, Pacifica, and Isle of Capri. Next time I’m staying in NC at the beach. VA beach is ok.

Quiet location and great breakfast, staff, and room.

A very relaxed area of the beach. The check in process was absolutely smooth like no other I have experienced. The front desk staff were friendly and very professional. My view from the terrace was amazing as I was able to view the sunrise. I would definitely return in the future.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The cleaning staff kept up on the rooms and were always cleaned and stocked with fresh towels and clean trash cans. The breakfast was delicious and was such a plus that it was included in the price. Nice walk out right to the beach and walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Great hotel would recommend!

Beautiful property I would love to come back to when I visit again. It was quiet and very clean!
