Hyatt Place Virginia Beach / Oceanfront

Breakfast was great everyday! The rooms are spacious, love the no carpet! Staff super friendly and very helpful! We Will be back!!

Stayed here with our family for vacation. We all enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly and everything was always kept clean. We also liked the easy access to the beach while also enjoying the breakfast and bar. The views from our room were spectacular! Would definitely come here again.

The staff was very friendly, room was nice (although the couch smelled like feet) and cozy, view was stunning and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The only issue I had was with valet, where I had to wait quite some time for my vehicle on two occasions due to an area concert/event. Overall, I would recommend Hyatt Hotels for future trips.

The property is conveniently located in the oceanfront. Some parts of the hotel were not clean thoroughly like the carpet hallway or the wet floor in the elevator.

Clean facility and on the beach. I was informed the day before checkout that the hotel would be able to store my luggage after I checked out. However, when I checked out, the front desk representative advised me that leaving my luggage would be at my own risk. I was further informed that the luggage is stored in an unlocked area that may be accessible to others. This was concerning and inconsistent with the information I had been given the previous day. I believe secure luggage storage would be a valuable service for guests, particularly those with later departures. If demand or staffing is a concern, the hotel might consider offering this service for a nominal fee, limiting the number of bags accepted, or implementing another system that allows luggage to be stored securely. I was also disappointed by the level of professionalism at the front desk. I observed the receptionist spending a considerable amount of time on her personal phone. This can give guests the impression that staff are less attentive and available to assist them. Given the concern about the time or resources required to manage luggage storage, it was especially noticeable to see significant time being spent on personal phone use. I hope this feedback is received constructively, as improvements in these areas could enhance both the guest experience and the overall professionalism of the property.

The staff, pool, and spacious rooms. Even though, the floor of the room was clean, it had sand everywhere when we first walked in.

Great breakfast! Great location! Loved having all our pets with us and meeting others' pets. Fantastic access to meticulously maintained beach and equipment rentals. There's no restaurant, concierge or bell staff. Have to use valet parking and in/out request ahead. Very noisy Navy jets fly overhead all day.

I was just looking at the movies and I accidentally pushed the button for a pay per view movie and got charged for it I think it should ask you again before charging I was trying to exit it because I had already watched that movie for free at home
