Terrible servicio para empezar me tardaron en dar el cuarto1 hora y me dieron otro que era más barato que el que pagué se los dije pero e igual solo me dijeron que solo estaba ese disponible y sino tenía que seguir esperando ósea para entrar se tardan y no ay problema pero para salir a las 11 am en punto te están sacando y luego resultó que cuando vi el anuncio de el hotel decía el precio con el desayuno incluido y resultó que me cobraron $80 dólares más $18 les dije que se habían pagado pero me dijeron que no que eso era problema de expiria y luego en el anuncio decía que el estacionamiento si era afuera a la intemperie sería gratis pero me acabaron cobrando $20 dls po los 2 días y luego llegamos a el cuarto y no avía toallas solo 1 y luego en la noche solisitamos 2 cobijas extras y solo nos dieron una además tuvimos que bajar a el front desk por ellas la verdad lo único rescatable son las albercas de el hotel pero sinsera mente no regreso y si piensan renta si pues pónganse listos porque es pura transa con todo

Burke made check-in quick and seamless while providing a thorough overview of everything the property has to offer. Since it was our first visit, we really appreciated him taking the time to explain the amenities and activities available throughout our stay. Levi truly made our vacation special. He checked in with us every day to make sure we were comfortable and asked if we needed fresh towels, toiletries, or anything else. That level of genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. The amenities were fantastic! The pools were beautiful and made for the perfect vacation photos. We also loved the home theater, where they offered multiple movie showings throughout the day and even served freshly popped popcorn before each showing (except the evening movie). It was such a fun and thoughtful touch for families and guests of all ages. We also had dinner at the Isle of Capri on the sixth floor, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant has an elegant, classy atmosphere with elevated views that made the evening feel extra special. If you're looking for a beachfront hotel with outstanding customer service, fun amenities, and a staff that genuinely cares about your experience, I highly recommend Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach North Beach. We can't wait to come back!

The pictures on the website are deceiving, the property is in very poor shape. One of the rooms had a broken latch/handle for the balcony. The rug had a lot of stains as well as the walls. The bathroom was extremely small and the vanity/sink was falling apart. The hallways have no AC so it was very hot. The rooms had very bad smells.

What pulled me in was their options of in door and out door pools. All worked and were functioning. Us as a family all had a great time. The room was clean and served its purpose, staff were friendly and nice to speak with (even though they worked the holiday), and the location was great. They had two restaurants for food, and offered movies in their theater to watch and provided popcorn. The only recommendation I had was one, have a map available for new comers to navigate and make sure people are aware they must book dinner reservations with the one restaurant in this location. Other than that would go back again.

Parking was poor because it is also shared with hotel restaurant. If trying to park after 5pm there were no spots available. The other restaurant at the hotel was limited because their oven was down all week.

The manager helped Me out with a parking pass even though they were booked super nice of her I had a big family with me Front staff super attentive even texted me while I stayed first time ever Amenities up the you know what. Two pools huge room restaurant bar kids food ice cream movie theater even daycare!!! Will come back !!!!

Our family of 16 were in 4 suites. We enjoyed the rooms, the pools, the restaurants and the beach. We hope to come back.

I reserved 3 king suites but was given 3 double queens so that was disappointing. My grandchildren loved the pools and being right on the ocean. I enjoyed my family being together. I feel the pools need to be better maintained, the amount of sand and debris in them is awful. I would stay here again once the renovations are completed.

Here are the Pros: - location, and convenience to enjoy the beach early morning then transition to the hotel pools. - pools: the hotel has decent pools (indoor and outdoor pools). My 6yo absolutely love the pools, and water slide. - comfy beds: although the hotel room was not one of the best we stayed so far, the bed was decent and comfortable. We enjoyed our vacation there and recommend this hotels for families with kids. The hotel also had a play area for kids with arts and crafts available and a mini movie theater. We didn’t end up watching any movie, but we saw other families who seemed to have a good time. The Cons: - WiFi connection: we basically didn’t have internet at all any time we spent in the room due to the hotel deadspots. - Cleanliness: there’s big difference between an out of date hotel and a dirty hotel. From previous reviews I was not expecting this hotel to be modern or so; but I was hoping at least the hotel would be better cleaned. There were 2 days in a row where the carpet in the elevators were coved with popcorn. It was very gross to come in and out all day and see that. I noted other areas (like pool and bathrooms) where the cleaning was also bad, including the room services. From my experience if the hotel addresses these issues, I would be happy to return for another vacation.

I liked the hotel. It’s a great place to be, especially if you have kids. they got a movie theater and a kid room lots of pools, a hot tub, a free laundry facility. It’s a little dated but the location the service the amenities were just amazing. i will return. It is on the far side of the beach, meaning bring a good pair of walking shoes to get the the middle of the action. but i liked that it was further because the beach was less crowded. i also liked the balcony, and that it was closed off so you didn’t have to see your neighbors. the shower was hot and had good power. no complaints here. i loved it

Lazy river and pool areas were excellent for my kids. The Northern location was ideal for quiet and less crowded beach. Staff from Levi to John were amazing.

Levi at the front desk was amazing and extremely helpful, and my family loved the pool and location of the hotel itself. Our biggest complaints revolve around the 2 x elevators which were extremely small, the doors sometimes worked, sometimes didn't, and when they did they would slam shut too quickly. I have the bruise on my arm to prove it! The other complaint is the lack of parking. You're sharing parking with the Isle of Capri restaurant and even the few spaces in the overflow parking (which was filled with storage containers) was full at times. When I first checked in, I had to wait 30 minutes for a parking space to become available. Aside from that, we actually did enjoy our stay. The room was clean and we had a great view. Being at 39th street also is far enough north on the Boardwalk that it stayed much quieter and felt safer.

The rooms are outdated. The sliding door to the balcony was very difficult to open and hard to lock. Housekeeping was poor. You had to complain multiple times to the front desk for them to come and clean your room. In my opinion you shouldn't have to ask to have your trash emptied and floor swept. It should be done daily. On the plus side you are next to the beach and being towards the north end of the boardwalk it wasn't extremely busy and wasn't over crowded.

Great entertainment Breakfast was ok I don’t recommend. Good was a little cold and dried out There’s great breakfast place down the road Great experience overall

This hotel was amazing! It’s in a wonderful location. All 3 pools and the beach were the highlight of our trip. The square whale had good food.

The property was beautiful and huge. For our 3 day stay, we didn’t even get to enjoy all the beautiful amenities, like extra pools, movie theatre, kids club, guy, restaurant, etc! The staff were amazing and shout out to Levi who was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, and checking in periodically to make sure we were content! Nothing.

Room was clean expect trash left on balcony. Carpet was very old and gross. Pools were dirty at all times (bugs, wads of hair,) AC was old and musty smelling. Elevators were old and didn’t work very well (long wait) stairwell was smelly. Only three laundry machines for a whole hotel. There were signs stating the hotel will be innovated soon, I’m disappointed as it seems I paid post-renovation price for an old, smelly outdated hotel.

Pool areas were great for little kids..Rooms were spacious.
