Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

One Night but great overall experience

Everything about the resort was alright. The only down side is that you have to pay for parking even if you’re staying at the resort and it’s the same amount of you were trying to just use the parking garage

The location, the free bike rentals, the gym, the staff, the restaurants and the entire stay was perfect.

Ocean view was amazing, room was clean and staff was great

The hotel is located right on the beach with a nice pool and lots of lounge chairs by the pool and on the beach. The Tulu restaurant on the main floor is great with wonderful staff. The rooms are good size. We had a suite with partial view of the ocean that was very comfortable and spacious. There were a few minor issues that should be relatively simple to fix. One was the elevators that needed the room key to be scanned to operate but often did not read the cards and were stuck. The lines were long and sometimes it took long to get to the room. There were no luggage racks to carry the luggage and no bellman by the door. The front desk had to call them. The windows of the rooms without a balcony were dirty and made the view much less attractive. Lastly, the database of the rooms was inaccurate. We asked for an accessible room for my mother-in-law, and the room they assigned to her had a tub not a shower. We had to come downstairs (with the slow elevator) and request a different room. Had to wait for the room to be cleaned although it was after 4:00 PM. Overall a fine hotel but seemed a little careless about being perfect, maybe because they had enough customers and did not need to do better.

This is a place you will never forget and will be willing to visit again soon... Everything thing was Top Shelf 5 Star Treatment... We will be returning.

Our check-in experience was effortless, and I was especially pleased that our room was ready at 2:30 PM. That early access made a wonderful difference and immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay. I left extremely satisfied. From the cleanliness and beautiful facilities to the pool, the incredible restaurants, and the smooth check-in experience, Marriott once again lived up to its reputation. It’s always reassuring to stay somewhere where you know you can expect a certain level of quality and this stay was no exception. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, relaxing, and memorable hotel experience.

Everything was excellent couldn't ask for a better say. Eveyone was so pleasant and polite and seem to enjoy their jobs. We even had the privilege of witnessing a couple getting married. We will definitely book here again.

Hotel is extremely clean. Pools are also. Outside pool is chilly. Sun is barely on it all day. Inside pool was great with the kids. Tulu is a great on spot restaurant to eat, take out to beach, or room service. Bell hop was super fast. We arrived earlier for check in. And we’re able to get in room early. Two chairs come complimentary for the beach. Towels too.

The property was very nice with extraordinary views! We enjoyed the complimentary bike rental and easy access to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk!
