Holiday Inn Express & Suites VA Beach Oceanfront by IHG

the property was wonderful - all rooms face the beach. With the balcony access the ocean views were tremendous. watched Dolphins every day right in front of our room! Nice to be on the boardwalk - easy walking to lots of eateries and stores. The breakfast was very good and nice dining option in the cafe or out on the terrace. The only drawback was the pool. The first day we arrived it was very nice, but each day it went downhill. Looked like no one was cleaning it and the algae or mold was very evident in the water intakes and started to have an odor. Besides that is was a wonderful stay - the room was in excellent condition - loved it!

Checkin was smooth and the room was great. I booked two queen beds for two nights two adults and two kids. The breakfast was okay nothing special just be sure to be there 30 mins before shutdown or you might miss out on some stuff. Only complaint is the parking lot now granted it is free parking but the lot is not the big or the spaces. My car is a Toyota Corolla very small already car right…so I ended up losing the somewhat big space and ended up in a very much tight spot for a space on the lot. It was horrible I had to keep laughing to keep myself together cause boy I was over the work I was putting in to park. Other than that it’s great and access to the boardwalk and beach is one step out the door. Oh yeah the pool needs more TLC knowing people are coming from the beach so the sand is very noticeable a clean throughout the day would be beneficial I feel.

Perfect stay for a family of 6! Beautiful beach view. No problems at all. Easy access to the beach. Nice hot breakfast. Staff was fast to respond when we requested more bath towels. We also enjoyed the indoor pool.

Great experience

Great location. Close to everything. Staff was very nice. Some things could be updated like the couch in the rooms and carpet in the elevators. Overall I would stay again.

Clean rooms and exceptional staff!!! Beds are very comfortable! Not enough onsite parking. We stayed for three nights paid $18 per day and had to park three blocks away.

Las habitaciones 20/10 muy limpias, la cama súper cómodas. El desayuno muy bueno. Lo único que cambiaría sería la piscina, es pequeña y un poco incómoda.

Clean room/bathroom, comfortable bed. Pool needs more cleaning tho. But overall we enjoyed our stay and planning on booking the same hotel next vacation.

The stay was very convenient to beach and boardwalk. Breakfast was great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean. I would recommend and stay again in the future. I dont think you should charge for parking when you are staying in your Hotel. And if there is a need. I think asking 18 dollars is a bit much.

We were checked into our room by Raine. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. Because we arrived early, the most we hoped for was a parking pass so we could park our car and enjoy the beach until check in time. She checked us in immediately to make sure we could enjoy our one night stay at the beach and be comfortable. She exhibited immense hospitality!

Very convenient location

Facilities starting to show age. This could be an amazing property very easily.

Close to the top of the beach near 26th. Location was great. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Rooms were big, clean enough.
