If you’re looking for a place close to the Ocean front to stay that’s fairly cheap and you’ll be out and about most of the time, then maybe consider staying here. I was only there for a short time to visit Family so I wasn’t in my room a whole lot, but it was kind of scary for me as a single woman, and there were a lot of parties going on in the neighboring rooms and people running up and down the stairs and playing very loud music because there were a lot of parties going on, so it probably wasn’t the best place for me to stay, but I stayed there. If you can afford more than consider another hotel but it’s not bad. It’s OK. It’s very close to the oceanfront within walking distance so that is a plus. The staff is very friendly.. however the property was very rundown and dirty.

This motel was not as pictured. Cigarette burn holes in the blankets, and the bathroom is dark!

The coffee machine was missing a part so couldn’t make coffee. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Old facility and motel faces Pacific so you can clearly hear all traffic and outside noise however our one night stay wasn’t too bad. Think the lousy weather kept noise down

Nice place, great location.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room smelt musty. Bed was comfy. It was quite loud and the drapes didn’t prevent the lights to shine in all night.

The lady at the front desk was amazing! With that being said the rooms was clean but had a musty smell . There was dope dealers hanging out at the corner . There was a drunk lady sitting on the steps by my motel room door that started knocking on my door cussing me out because I wouldn’t let her use my phone she was out there talking to her self for hours. I wouldn’t recommend this place with a family . There was a bunch of weird shady people there .

Great location to boardwalk friendly staff room was clean and comfortable pool & area around was clean would stay again

Superb

The room was terrible. There was like a 1 inch crack from the main door, which made me feel very uncomfortable insecure no double lock on the front door. The lamp next to the bed was falling apart. There was no comforter or blanket on the bed. It was just a light sheet covering. Very uncomfortable! some sort of dirt or black mold along the bottom of the backboard of the bed nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom . nowhere to place toilet paper it seemed like the towel bar and toilet paper holder were all broken The AC unit was so loud I could not sleep. I tossed and turned all night long.. .. Had to kill a roach found on the floor Yikes ! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ! It was so uncomfortable staying there the first night that I didn’t stay there second night !

Clean room

The staff is the highlight of this motel. The lady at the office was wonderful in every regard. Our room was underwhelming. The floors were clearly mopped because there were puddles that never went away. I had to use one of the two washcloths stacked for us in order to dry them. The two towels and one blanket were folded on a luggage rack. There were only sheets on the bed, no blanket except for the folded one. The blanket for the bed was full of big holes, but it did appear to be clean. The bathroom had been remodeled. The lighting was FABULOUS. The counter space was very small, not big enough for a toiletry bag. The location was great. So there were pros and cons. Pretty typical old beach motel room, I’d say.

This time it was horrible. It was a lot of little things that added up that just made the stay unpleasant. Reserved a king was given a room with 2 queens, even when it was noted on reservation that I needed ground floor room due to needing handicap accessibility. King room was available when reservation placed. No top sheet on either bed Only 2 towels, no bathmat, no hand towels and 1 washcloth supplied in the room. When requested additional items only one towel was was given none of the other item needed were available. Toilet roll holder broken left hanging from front of sink . They put new on up on the wall left broken one just hanging. Hairdryer did not work. Slow draining tub. Unable to use coffee maker missing piece to brew coffee. WiFi port didn't work. On last day moved the curtain large brown clumpy stain in the curtain. Floor was very gritty throughout the room. If it had only been a couple things but it was to many little things that added up.

I liked seeing the ocean and seeing the jets fly over. The office attendantwas very nice I don't believe the beds were queen size, they seemed to be a double bed and the coffee pot left something I be desired. On the streets were hookers.It was a lot different than it was when we were there 30 years ago.

Convince Dirty,?what ever they clean with made me itch. Dead bugs under the bed.

I was given my choice of room and floor, because I was one of the first out of town travelers to attend the airshow. I had contacted the hotel a month in advance. The one woman at the office was always available, and was pleasant enough. Everything needs a serious repaint! Even the painted steps were worn down. The place looks like it was built in the 1980's and has remained untouched ever since! No security at all (not expected at this price) but a homeless guy sleeping in front of a door on the ground floor..? And arguments in the parking lot should be dispersed by someone other than a guest! Maybe this is what Virginia Beach has deminished into, because I haven't been in thirty years..

If you just need a place to sleep and are not worried about all the frills, then this is your spot! Older hotel but very clean. Pool was also very clean. The lady at the front desk was super sweet. Close the beach, stores and food. There’s nothing I can complain about. Would definitely stay again!
