Motel 6 Virginia Beach, VA

Stayed 4 nights, hot water never worked, mold in bathroom along with cracks in the roof , rooms weren’t very clean, pictures are not accurate with room features

I was injured at the property and this place could care less. I requested an insurance claim adjuster over 10 days ago and nothing. Unsafe building and filthy to boot no smoke detector, door doesnt properly lock. The black algae i fell on is extremely dangerous.

It was in a weird location and people were smoking having a party with door open I would be careful staying at this location

There’s plenty of parking, the pool is great, close to a lot of restaurants, the beach is about 15 minutes from the hotel. Hotel staff is friendly, and always around if you have questions!

Got there at check in time and spoke to the woman at the front desk. We were told we had a smoking room but tried to change that since we don't smoke. We were not accommodated there. Ok I'll make it work. Except I got to the room and the floor was filthy. There was a wad of chewed up gum stuck to the floor. I was so tired from the 9hr drive that I just cleaned it myself. The next day I ended up emailing management. Someone had been putting their cigarette butts out on the window sill. Gross. I did also mention the gum. I also cleaned up some of the floor myself since I had spilled some water. Wiping it up, you could see the floor hadnt been washed since the dirt was coming up onto the towel. On a positive note, the air conditioner worked well. Front desk staff was friendly. Lots of parking. Location was ok. Driving distance to everything, but unfortunately I won't be back.

This use to be an okay spot! Owners let people destroy the place even more.

Was well kept and had minimal issues.

Nothing good about my stay

This was the worst time I've ever had at motel 6 in Virginia we found razor blades in our room the toilet bowl was cracked when we got there the bed was horrible the staff was rude at the front desk when you went to go get towels and I feel like they should clean your room if stay over with out u have to ask them for it that crazy too we left early and I don't even think I got a refund for the day that we didn't stay the night

It not as good as was three years they need to clean better and the building is falling apart and we found razor blades in the room on top of the closet top space we left early because the bed need changed out rough to lay on hole body hurt

Tub had rust! Overall the room was clean strong cleaning aroma from the over kill of chemical used, the staff lady in morning was rude let me explain I ask for “do not disturb sign” all she was saying was for what for what… keep in mind I already explained myself twice to this lady. To make things easier she could of have said no we don’t have any signs. I will not be there again!!!!

Lots of Old stuff

Clean quite loved are room ready to book it again 2 days

Fridge working bad, no microwave on the room, badly sink at washing system and badly bathroom also on top of that no breakfast or coffee to drink on the morning.

There were also people who appeared to be sleeping around the property's exterior. Alcohol was present and likely drug use. Not ideal for a family stay.

When we first got there, the first thing you noticed was the floor was not even vacuumed that you could see from far all the dirty crumbs on the floor the beds was the only thing that was cleaned we left the hotel the next day to let housekeeping clean the rooms. We were hoping that our room would have been cleaned by when we got there. The room wasn’t cleaned. We went down to the lobby and ask if they could go clean it they told us they couldn’t because they had already left. If you’re hoping that probably the next day your room is going to be cleaned then don’tThe stuff that gave us the cards was nice That was the only good thing about the hotel what a waste of money apart from all of that, the owner seems like he doesn’t really care about the quality of the hotel because even the elevator feels like it’s gonna fall down when you’re in it

Toilet had to be manually flushed each time. Refrigerator leaking was to be replaced first night but no one ever came. It was never replaced and manager never addressed or returned. Not enough towels or wash cloths. Upon checkout left bank card and called back and asked for it to be mailed and was told no they would not incur the expense of the stamp.

Run down ghetto hotel

Needed a last minute place to stay and everything nearby was booked, so we stayed here. The only positive was the person working the front desk. She was helpful. The room was sparse to say the least - no chair, no place to hang clothes, and the room felt damp. A lady who got on the elevator with us commented on all the "losers" outside the front of the property. It served its purpose, but I won't ever stay there again.

Room was as described. Price was amazing for the quality of the motel and room. Would stay again.
