Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waco South by IHG

The room was sort of clean, refrigerator was not clean, the TV had dirty streaks on it. Room was cold, bed was comfy but the hallway to my room also very dirty. Ice machine also broken on floor I stayed. Would have expected more for this stay.

Checking in was fast and I was helped by friendly staff. I would stay again here when I visit Waco!

Everything was great except the indoor pool was too cold to swim in

Clean, well maintained, very helpful staff. Gym was very basic. Indoor pool often smelled of chemicals, which made it difficult to use.

The hotel itself is ok. The lack of employees is what boggles my mind. 1 person at 4pm to assist a ton of guests, I felt bad for the employee. Furniture seemed to be missing in the lobby. There was also a family reunion and in the morning not enough seats for breakfast. The pool was freezing and not kept clean. Towels all over the floor, trash and tiny towels. In addition, lobby floors were dirty and not cleaned for at least 24 hours and water all over the place from the pool. We were there for 2 nights and our room was never cleaned.

We checked in very late and they had held our room for us! There was a huge family reunion there having quite the party in the lobby area.

Really enjoyed the property, the room and the pool. The only thing I was disappointed in was that even though breakfast is until 9:30, when we got there at 9:10 there was no more food only sausage patties and biscuits. When I asked the host if she was making more eggs she said no she wasn't. Other people came in after me and they didn't have much choice on breakfast.

The staff was wonderful! The room was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was the indoor pool was cold. But we still used it twice. Would come back again.

Nothing specific, just that everything was great! We liked everything!

We did have a problem with the rooms next to ours. The people in it talked loudly all night and sang until around 2:00 am making it very hard to have a good nights sleep. We did tell the lady at the desk upon our departure.

Clean room, great breakfast, good location

Breakfast was fine as far as food. There was some disappointment from family members about no Texas shaped waffles. lol Standards. However, the woman running the breakfast area was outstanding! She went out of her way each morning to make sure we had everything and anything we needed. She is a shining example of exceptional staff! the charge cords/stations for electric vehicles are very badly placed. We stumbled over them every night. they are an accident waiting to happen.
