Hotel Indigo WACO - BAYLOR by IHG

Nicest hotel in the area. Clean and beds were comfy. Friendly staff. Didn't get to try the restaurant, but the food other guests were munching in looked really good. There are a lot of homeless people in the area. We didn't have any issues during this stay, but we have had completely unprovoked hostile encounters with them in this area in the past.

It was classy, clean, comfortable, and staff was attentive and kind. We were a bit surprised because we were not familiar with this hotel. It was fine. No issues

Location. Pool. Live cockroach in room. Scared my wife to death.

Staff was all very friendly. The gym has all essential equipment and there is a cute pool area. It wasn’t in the best location and shares a parking lot with a men’s shelter.

The property and rooms were very clean and modern. My only complaint was that the bathroom had very dim lights which made putting on makeup or shaving difficult.

This beautiful hotel is a short walk from the Magnolia stuff, Dr Pepper Museum, shops, bars, restaurants, wine bars and live music!

I like the location of Hotel Indigo. It’s never a perfect place anywhere in Waco. There’s a Salvation Army next door so the area does have a population needing their services at SA. Two thumbs up because a new facility is being built to better serve this population and this facility next door will close, making the area safer. The amenities and safety at Hotel Indigo is the best of all the Waco hotels I’ve tried. It’s not far from Magnilia or Baylor. But folks, you do need to rent a car. Uber is not dependable in Waco and it’s not safe to cross the highway by foot with car traffic and construction. The server at the restaurant on Saturday morning was unhelpful and the cook ruined the breakfast I had perfectly the day before. (Egg white omelet)
