This was a lovely stay. We ended up in the Napua wing and it truly was great. The staff was very kind and remembered our names instantly. A lazy river should come with every hotel hahaha!

Perfect honeymoon stay, nice resort
-
It was great

Don’t mistake 5 star amenities for 5 star service and you’ll be just fine. The valets are engaged, but after you enter the hotel, the service level is surprisingly meh. We had to ask 5 times over 2 days for extra pillows that never arrived. Pool towels aren’t available for pick up for 3 hours before the pools close and same story—no one can get them to you. Find the service closets and get what you need yourself and move on with your life.

There is an overall lack of genuine service. You feel very rushed and staff is just looking to charge everything to your room. Lack of food options for families with young kids. The pool is not as nice as advertised, the lazy river is small and the slides only open for a limited time each day, the water elevator was broken and the snorkeling is just putting on equipment no fishes. Extra charge for umbrellas at the beach. $80 daily charge for valet is excessive with the car just sitting there for days. The pool haus staff is very short and rude, constantly trying to over sell and upgrade. The spa staff was not welcoming, made you feel like you’re inconveniencing them yet paying a very high price per service. The ocean view room was obstructed by trees in the garden, not worth the upcharge. Walls were very thin we could hear the room next door. Room Amenities are sub par for a Waldorf resort . The grounds are well maintained and access to the beach is nice however this can be found other places. We will not be returning.

The property was great, awesome pools , beautiful beach .
-
Wonderful place to stay in Maui.
-
No chairs available at pools and no one clearing towels from chairs so chairs were held all day with no one ever in them
-
The pool and beach were wonderful. The restaurants were excellent!
-
The rooms were disgusting the staff wasn’t even cleaning them. Everything was expensive and was about money. The maintenance was nonexistent to the rooms. This is far from a 5 star hotel
-
We also saw a few roaches inside the room. They told us that this is normal in Maui, but for a hotel that charges over $1,000 a night, you expect a higher standard of cleanliness. Other than that, the hotel is located in a very nice spot, and the amenities were amazing, especially the Grotto Bar.

Four season better

Property was perfect, restaurants were expensive but amazing!
-
We love the hotel but flight was very bad and we paid too much. Also we have to pay for our carryons.
-
Be ware if you leave belongings unattended for longer than an hour staff will remove from chairs. Didn’t happen to us but many other families returned to thier chairs after playing in pools, ocean and slides to find there belongings gone and get confrontational with people who now occupied thier chairs. Staff need to be more present and explain this so all parties understand. Rooms themselves very nice and clean.

Property is amazing. Pool fantastic. If you stay in the Molokini wing you are gonna walk A LOT to get to pool. Takes a day or two to figure out logistics and elevators.
