Clean, simple, convenient.

No one should stay here. There are people breaking into the car fuel flaps of the hotel guests. The front desk charged me a whole night even after I told them I was checking out 30 mins after another guest told (and showed) me what happened to them car. I also saw another car broken into. The customer service here was so rude….and it’s UNSAFE

When we pulled up we were going to drive away but we were exhausted and needed sleep. Once you make your way through all the cigarette and marijuana smokers loitering out front you should just go to your room and lock the door. I can not believe Hilton has their name attached to this property

This is a relatively new hotel. Excellent value if all you need is a safe and clean room. No elevator to the second floor and no microwave in the room.
-
Negative - the hallways often smelled of marijuana which was extremely unpleasant. I believe housekeeping was aware since the hallways smelled strongly of it when housekeeping was there and working in the rooms. Room ventilation was good and the room hardly smelled of marijuana.

Not real good. People hollering in the hall all night long, slamming doors, and dog barking two rooms down.

The cleanest hotel in the area.

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but extensive. Would stay again.
-
My only con is the communal microwave.

Didnt get room service at all during the whole week there . Had to ask one day for trash bags.. never got new bedding or room vacuumed.. very disappointed with the price we paid for the week and got nothing in return for that amount.. very poor service.....

Need more variety of food for breakfast. Upgrade need to be better

The hotel was clean and for the most part quiet. Breakfast was continental but great options. The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. This was our 2nd time at this location.
-
The room did not have any closed draws or closed closet space. Everything was out in the open so I did not feel comfortable with leaving anything in the room.

Had a real live bedbug with the nasty brownish trail of fluid. Called front desk. They did move us to another room but offered no type of compensation for the trouble. Also there is no elevator.

Mary @ Front Desk was more than just that, she is a superstar and made us feel important and not invisible. She went above and beyond to help us when our reservation was canceled even after we were checked in.... it was a nightmare, but she helped us immensely. I will recommend The Spark to anyone traveling in Waldorf! We will also be back in the future.

This place is renovated Travelodge or La Quinta. This isn't even close to being any Hilton. Water leaks from rain, cold breakfast. No elevators, list goes on. Don't waste your money!

Strong marijuana odor

Not a very good breakfast

The second floor reeked of marijuana pretty much our whole stay. Fortunately, we couldn't smell it in our room. The room itself was simple, clean and what we expected for the price we paid. The thermostat didn't seem to control the A/C unit very well. Couldn't get the fan to stay on. Since it was hot and humid outside, it was just slightly too warm for comfort. Now, here's a positive. There were 4 charging stations directly behind the hotel (which were Level 2 EVgo chargers). There was no fee for parking after a completed charge and the hotel permitted you to park it there overnight. Was slightly expensive at .59c/kWh. Breakfast was a little underwhelming. Was told it was a "bagel bar" but only had plain and everything bagels with butter, cream cheese and jam. No proteins and 3 cereals (plus minimal fruit). Not bad, it's free so how can you really complain. Overall, our stay was just ok. If it was cleaner, stricter on it's no smoking policy and had just a few more options for breakfast, this would easily become a 4 or 5 star.
