Diablo Mountain Inn - Walnut Creek

Staff- rude! Came knocking on our room door asking what’s going on as if we had done something wrong. Said that we were stomping and yelling, which is total false. She even threatened to call the police on us. Parking- minimal. But there was some! Air conditioning- not too powerful!

I would suggest that the property management consider installing better electrical outlets as my iPhone charger kept slipping down and out of the socket. I reported this to the front desk while I was there as I had trouble keeping my iPhone charged during my stay and had to depend on charging it in my car rental.

Helpful staff, good location

We always stay here when visiting relatives in the area. It’s not fancy but is always clean and comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. It also has easy access to freeways, restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommend.

It was on the right location with walking distance to downtown, the bed was amazing, the room was nice except the shower, the water pressure was too much but other then that great

We’ve stayed there before. Mentioned to the staff. They gave us the same room. Superb. Parking can be a little challenging. But, that’s SO minor - since it’s free, onsite. (Really, not even a negative…)

Located close to everything, however, traffic was very loud.

In the center of Walnut Creek. A very good location for anything in or around the town. Refurbished to good standards - not a luxury hotel but a good basic place to stay. A little noisy from the freeway not too far from the hotel.

There was plenty of parking and the front desk was helpful

With so many good tea and coffee places and bakeries (Model Bakery!), we did not miss having a hotel buffet breakfast that is often subpar. We have a new favorite when visiting our family in the Walnut Creek area.

No breakfast. Location is great. All went well.
