Pros: -My bed was nice, but one of my three pillows was covered in hair. Cons: -The hotel is incredibly dated, and pretty much anything in the room you can imagine is broken or half-broken. -The lights in my bathroom didn't turn on. -The faucets were leaking, and I didn't brave the shower after seeing how dirty it was. -My trash cans were full from the previous guests. -I came back to my room, and the door to it was open; nothing was taken, but it was still concerning. -Walls were thin, and guests were loud both inside and outside the hotel. Overall, it was super cheap, and I survived, but I wouldn't stay again. They responded to my review saying they'd take corrective measures, but that'd require a total renovation, so I'm doubtful. *I already reviewed on Google, but I'm leaving one here as well since Expedia requested it.

This property can be described in one word - NASTY. I will never stay again. Elevators were broken, room floor sticky. Bed was mattress on wire and spring “box spring”. “Grab and go breakfast” was coffee and Nutrigrain bars. Very run down, cheap and nasty.

Please save yourself and don't even bother with this place. For this price you can do way better around this area. This hotel felt more like a shelter for the unhoused and the staff could care less. A man who works at the front desk tried to bust into my room at 8 AM his excuse was that he knocked but did not hear an answer, meanwhile I had the place booked for 3 nights. Since we arrived in town very late, I did not have much choice but to spend the night, We could not even shower, the bathtub looked very questionable. The entire facility is uninviting starting with the lobby, elevator out of order, rude staff, in the bedroom, some of the lamps were missing light bulbs, bathtub was dirty, the only positive was since we had no other choice for the night, the beds were ok. Will not recommend this place even to my worse enemy. I am trying to get my refund from Expedia as I had to book another place. Please do not be like me and read the reviews.

We like the location and the size of the room and the comfortable beds The toilet seat was loose, which I secured myself. There was mold along the tub edge, and on the bathroom tiles, the presswood cabinet is peeling, and the bathroom door needs touchups around the handle. The floorboards in front of the first bed are loose and noisy when stepped on the unfinished plaster work on the walls is a poor quality, and should have been finished in room ready condition before booking. The electrical outlet cover plate under the table between the beds is damaged and needs to be replaced. Additionally, the breakfast did not match what was advertised. It is described as a "muffin and granola bar to go", but strangely enough there were no muffins available and they were not granola bars. A minor point but this is disappointing given the many other issues.

Nothing positive to state. Facility smells like cigarette smoke throughout. Staff are nice but only one staff on at a time. Increased wait time at desk, fob key for door was an extensive wait due to their system programming. Had to wait to be let in by staff until done with other individuals at front desk. Rooms not cleaned well, old tissue and hair in shower from previous individuals left. Bought my own bleach and disinfectant. Did not end up staying. Equivalent to a motel. Tv also did not work/turn on. The smell alone of the place is terrible if you have allergies.

not a damn thing about this hotel. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES. Sleeping at the Boston airport was more enjoyable than the hour we spent in this hotel. Let me start off by saying if I could pick a negative review rating I would've picked -100 (at least) We arrived at the hotel after our flight had been canceled twice, just wanting a few hours of sleep and a place to freshen up. WHAT A JOKE THAT WAS! We arrived to a smoke infested hotel lobby, the elevator not working, the most unfriendly staff ever, and that was the highlight of our experience. After waiting about 30 minutes to even reach the front desk, we are given our room key and that is when it really goes down hill (if that was even possible). We enter our room to find that the cabinet doors are barely hanging on, there is a bucket collect water from a leak, the counter is FILTHY, the toilet has been used, the beds are dirty and clearly not been cleaned, there is trash everywhere, and for the topper THERE IS COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE. When I said I felt like I needed 5 showers after entering that room is an understatement. I went down to the lobby and demanded a refund. There was no way that we are staying in that disgusting hotel. The staff didn't even act surprised or appalled at the photos we showed them of the state of the room. I was refunded, but then the next day I discovered they had charged me twice and I was only refunded once. What a joke this hotel was.

Everything. It was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in my entire life, including Third World country hotels. My sheets weren’t even clean. I was sticking to the floor as soon as I walked into my hotel room. Even the pillows smelled.

    Very good

The staff were very helpful. The facility is older and needs to be a priority of the franchise for additional support. The facility is showing wear and tear. The holding company needs to engage more.

I had a room booked until 11am. Someone marked us as checked out around 9 even though we were not checked out and very much still using the room. A man unlocked and walked into my locked room to clean without knocking and intruded on me while I was alone and undressed. I felt violated and the staff was nothing but excuses and didn’t care that a 90lb female alone and naked in her room that she paid for was walked in on by a man who she did not know. It wasn’t my fault that they made an error in their computer, i was not checked out. The bathroom had hair everywhere. Everything was filthy. They were rude. I was appalled.

Don’t like the the stain old furnitures

This was bad. I arrived after a long 10hr drive and just needed a place to sleep. Had to be buzzed in (think of the movies when the main character visits a family member in prison). We were on closed-caption video monitors during the front-desk check-in. I don't know what was going on in my room prior, but it looked like it was used to quarantine homeless. My imagination was thinking this was used to house covid people in 2021, and the room hadn't been looked at since. The cabinets were literally torn from the wall and hanging from the hinges. There was no bedding for the 2nd bed. The sink wouldn't drain. I got a few hours sleep, skipped a shower, and left. The breakfast was a basket of Nutrigrain bars and a dripping coffee machine leaving a puddle on the counter. I knowingly picked this place with 5.8 stars - but I wish I paid the extra $50 for the place with 8 stars. Live and learn, I guess.

I am writing regarding my stay at the Extended Stay America Suites in Waltham on July 14, 2026. I had spent the entire day at Brigham and Women’s Hospital visiting my grandfather, who had just undergone major surgery. After a long and emotionally exhausting day, I arrived to check in and was informed that the elevator was out of service and there was no hot water in the hotel. After spending the day in a hospital, not being able to take a hot shower or even properly wash off before bed was incredibly frustrating. When I entered my room, the situation became even more concerning. The room had a very strong cigarette smoke odor, despite being advertised as non-smoking. There was visible nicotine staining running down the walls, and I have photographs documenting the condition. Even more alarming, I discovered that the smoke detector had been covered with a plastic bag, which is a serious safety concern. I understand that unexpected maintenance issues can occur, but the combination of no hot water, a non-functioning elevator, the condition of the room, and the apparent fire safety issue made for an unacceptable stay.
