This hotel was deceiving. The room looks clean but I came home with 15 bed bugs bites on my legs and one bite on my neck.

I really love this hotel the only place I like to stay better than this is the Arlington Hilton and that’s just because the Dog Park is right across the street and I travel with my family. The staff here is fantastic.
-
Location and staff were really good Parking fees are expensive. Breakfast choices are limited and there is no refill of things that ran out.

Needs Improvement: Rooms are small and dated. The AC did not work well. There are only two elevators in a 10+ story hotel, and one of them was out of service for most of our visit. The beds were uncomfortable - seemed as if the mattress was worn down with little support. My wife and I both received many insect bites on our arms and legs while there. The hotel should do a real good deep clean of all their rooms.

Hotel location was fantastic, easy to walk to White House and other major attractions. Metro subway station was also.very close and easy to use. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful.
-
Very clean rooms and community space. Great location.
-
Near by and easy to move around

Great location Breakfast buffet was ok but everything was eaten with single use plastic cutlery and cups and paper plates. Not a single glass or china cup/plate to be seen anywhere in the hotel. Environmentally very poor with very high consumption of single use plastics

Very good

The hotel was great. Location was central to a lot of great restaurants and activities. Parking was the issue. This hotel charges $70 a night for valet parking, which is outrageous.

The first room I was given smelled very strongly musty, which didn't improve after some time with the fan at full blast. The second room I got was much better, although still had that closed-in musty smell that comes from a room never getting any fresh air and strong industrial cleaners. The carpet was 'crunchy' underfoot, the doors were scuffed and the room was incredibly basic. It looked clean but everything just felt very tired. Room service is only every other day, unless you request it. Beds are very comfortable although the top comforter is not cotton, and the synthetic material is not great for sleeping.

Passable

Location was excellent Our shower looked dirty and in need of repair, we complained to the front desk and housekeeping left a card to show they came in and looked at it but it didn’t appear touched and the bathroom didn’t smell freshly cleaned so it appears they did nothing.

Close to the sites and great eats. Charge $59/night for parking. There is a garage I block away for 1/3 of that price. Wish I had known…. Bathroom was not clean and the ticky tacky towel holders kept falling off the walls.
-
Good quality of the facilities The fact that one out of the two elevators was out of order
-
Great breakfast and location No hot water and one elevator was broken. Long wait and crowded
-
Close to the mall The beds and pillows

First impression was fantastic. Parking was a lot more expensive than I anticipated. We arrived in our room and found that it happened to be a handicap accessible room, which may have been a booking error on my part as it was a very last minute booking. However, the room was very spacious and clean. Smell was a little off putting. It wasn't until we returned later in the evening for showers and bed that the disappointment came. The shower water was warm at best. After exploring the sites we were exhausted and just wanted a hot shower. But unfortunately the temperature was barely warm. The next disappointment was when we turned the lights out for bed. The windows had a view of what appeared to be a garage of sorts and the lights came through the blinds, almost felt like daylight. Blackout curtains would have been nice. The breakfast was great. A nice selection of hot and cold choices. We like to choose Hampton when traveling with kids because they will never pass up a waffle for breakfast! Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.
