Food very expensive

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be the pillows. They were way too soft. Even using 3, my head felt like it was laying too flat.

Hotel was very convenient and near everything.

We were unable to check into the hotel due to their system being down. The staff was nasty and not willing to try to accommodate us. They offered no solutions other than to continue waiting. We ended up checking into another hotel due to needing to rest before the evening’s events. I am extremely upset about all this. I would like a refund on my stay since I didn’t stay there. Please let me know what can be done to fix this problem.

The parking was too expensive. There wasn’t anyone at the check in desk for over five minutes when I arrived. The ice machine on my floor was broken and the floor below didn’t have any ice. The breakfast was mediocre.

Expensive parking but the hotel amenities made up for it!

Great front desk staff, $120 a night, good location, it had a bed, working shower and A/C. What more can you ask for!

I don’t like to pay parking lot for 55 dollars per night cuz the rent is very expensive

Drinking water in the lobby has a strong tap water smell like a toilet water. Wish it’s filtered.

Breakfast was awesome. Staff was great. Parking was easy, problem free.

Everything was good except the breakfast . That was subpar. Lack of choices and just ok tasting.

The breakfast was good, though if you didn’t get there early, it was often subject to running out of certain things. Luckily for me, though we were fairly early risers. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating. Especially whenever the ice machine on floor five where we were staying was not functional and they assisted me. The room itself was also quite nice and functional for what it was. The bedding were very soft and I slept well, in the bathroom and accompanying shower were very nice as well. Overall, it was a decent stay. Just not overwhelmingly great. Which that is okay with us, it served the purpose that we needed it to.

Disappointed. The staff are okay however there are bed bugs. I left bitten and i asked at the front desk if they have any cream or something for the bites and i was offered the body lotion they have in the rooms. They at less should have complementary bites cream. I will not stay here again.

Room was clean, pool was hot with mosquitoes, housekeeping never replac3d all 4 towels that were in the floor we would get 3 most of the time and did not replace the 4 washrags always shorted us one or two. Breakfast was just okay nothing spectacular just typical hotel breakfast. Front desk staff was amazing!!! Did not use parking but did use shuttle several times and thar was good as well.

No spare toilet paper was the only complaint.

This Hampton Inn was perfect for us. We had few issues. Breakfast was very good everyday, hotel staff are extremely helpful, rooms were ok- nothing fancy but nice. There is free access to washer and dryers on the Suite side. I did wash a load of clothes due to the fact it was a heat wave and we changed frequently. Bring some laundry detergent along. When I needed extra towels we received them quickly. The location to downtown DC is somewhat convenient. We are an older couple and were counting on the shuttle but unfortunately it only runs until 6pm. Too early for the summer evenings. It should run until at least 8 pm. We only used it once in five days due to the fact the shuttle is shared with the Suites next door. Never was available when we needed it. We used taxi service not Lyft or Uber. Much better service and more experienced drivers. Our bathroom did not have a fan and the air conditioning was mediocre. Perhaps due to the extreme heatwave. Very little snacks were offered at the convenience store in the hotel. Definitely could make improvements here. The hotel is very safe and so is the parking garage. Union Market district is unique. Lots of young folks hang out in this location and there re lots of shops. At first it my look sketchy but it safe. Taxi drivers told us the No Ma area has had lots of improvements and new buildings are everywhere. I would stay here again now that we know the neighborhood. Ask for a high floor 6,7, or 8. Extremely quiet.
