Parking in on-campus garage is great. Proximity to Union Market is awesome. Track is great for morning workouts. Desk staff was awesome. Rooms are not new, but bed was comfortable and AC kept the room at a nice temp in the DC heat, Will stay again.

Friendly service and clean room
-
the location was great and the area felt safe

I love that it’s located on university campus, great for family bringing students from out of state.

We only booked it because it was the venue for the show we were in town to see, with a 4pm check-in, an 11am check-out time should have been noon. Also, the only property entrance was on the opposite side of the campus from the parking garage, making the garage location even more inconvenient if one wanted to leave the premises.

Great hotel!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shuttle to Union Station was great and always as scheduled.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and hotel was clean. However, rooms only get cleaned every other day, no complimentary coffee in the lobby… a must in my eyes, I told the front desk several times that my body wash and hand soap was empty and the maids kept forgetting to refill. Maybe just a detail, but that detail makes the difference. Anyways, beautiful campus , great location. I love the union market district.

Big clean comfortable room, excellent customer service.

Overall it was a good stay the room was clean. The staff was good in the beginning but at checkout the women working the front desk was rude and acted as if she didn’t want to be ask questions about the shuttles. And there was a problem with the printer I assume because I never received my receipt and she said she would email it .

After we got home, I received an extra charge that I was confused about. I called the hotel many times, couldn’t get any help first, then I was able to talk to the manager who was the same manager that couldn’t properly address the noise next room. The charge was for the breakfast and unlimited snacks from the third floor. There was obviously miscommunication because the charge included both me and my husband, but we wanted the service included for me and my son only, for whom the service was complimentary. We also were never presented with the invoice or anything at the time and we didn’t sign any paperwork. I was trying to explain this to the manager and get the partial refund, but he was very hesitant and said he would try to get the refund, which never happened of course. I was able to get it through my credit card though. It’s not a bad hotel, prices were reasonable and it’s in a very good location, but the management needs improvement.

Being on a college campus did make arrival somewhat confusing. That was the end of any issues I had with this hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous from jump. A problem I had in the room upon arrival was rectified immediately. Parking was a bit pricey, but worth it and close by. I most definitely will be chosing this location anytime I have to come to DC.

Front desk & Housekeeping services Microwave available on 4/5 floors near ice machines. No trash bin or receptacles there though. No utensils or paper towels to wipe clean before/after use. Loved the reception area and lobby space for sitting & doing some computer work. Nice - Quiet - Absolutely loved the experience!!!

This property is in one of the best locations. Easy access to the metro. A very cool market for food, drinks, desserts and more! The staff is insanely helpful and extremely kind! We will 100% stay here again!

Excellent environment within auniversity. Clean and decent hotel with nice staff.

It was a challenge to fund the hotel on the grounds of the University. You'd imagine if you had a public hotel located on the campus of the college you'd have a sign pointing the way to your business. Nope!! Up to you to wander around and find the front entrance. We arrived and found the safe locked. Asked the front desk if we could get it fixed and they said no since they were changing vendors. They charge a 30.00 amenity fee but there really are no amenities to the place.

Our room was large and we also had a massage chair that was fantastic to have a drink and watch the World Cup from. I felt like Joey and Chandler in Friends. There was no breakfast but I think you could pay $25 for one. We went Aldi which was a couple of blocks away to stock up on brekkie There was a nice gym to get a sweat on and as it was set in a uni campus outside of term time it was quiet. Transport wise we could walk 10 mins to the Metro stop at NOMA galludet but we also walked back one evening and it wasn't too bad, some interesting characters but nothing too threatening. It's a $15 taxi ride from Union Station Also pro tip, to make the walk to Union Square bars and the metro station request a key card to get you through the gate....it saves ten minutes of your life All in all a pleasant experience
