This is for quick weekend or overnight trips, not very big or for large groups in 1 room. They do have an elevator, and plenty of light, also a rooftop bag/restaurant. The dining hours aren’t really convenient for hotel entertainment, but if you’re only there to change and sleep then it’s a great stay!! I’d recommend and stay again

The room had this constant fried food smell that was very unpleasant.

Cons: Water pressure in the shower is very low, almost all the time, and they said that’s normal!!! Bathroom had some insects/bugs/centepedes. Bed was very uncomfortable and very worn out on one side, so even if you move to the center you tend to roll into that ditch. Not sure if this is a problem for everyone but even if you set the AC to its lowest you won’t get any air flowing feeling, it’s definitely cool to be in the room but you don’t get the air flowing feeling.

The hotel was very disappointing. I had seen several reviews and I was hesitant but continued with it because of the price…well you get what you paid for. Before even arriving I tried to call several times to ask about the parking and no one we picked up the phone. When we arrived the parking spots had been filled and we parked in a garage nearby that was $60 a night with no in and out privileges. When we walked into the room it was very small and there was a noticeable harsh smell through out the entire room of food. The smell wasn’t going anywhere even after I turned on the smell. But the room was worse upon closer inspection. There was hair on the bathroom walls and floors. Dirty hand towels by the sink. The window curtains were dusty and dirty. The bed had the worst stains on the pillow cases and the sheets. When I asked the front desk staff if I could get someone in the room they told me yes but when someone arrived at the door they explained housekeeping left at 6 and they couldn’t do much. So he handed me the bed sheets and the pillow cases for me to change myself. I asked if I could have the bedding changed the next day. They agreed but did not fill this agreement. The room is made up of poor quality bedding and towels. The “amenities” lack any sort of quality or comfort. The staff isn’t friendly and housekeeping watches YouTube videos instead of actually cleaning the rooms (I witnessed this myself) overall a very underwhelming and disappointing experience.

I only stay because it was the best rate for me and I’m say it’s worth it the staff was super nice and the room cleaning was great would stay here again
-
Excellent staff, very friendly, clean, twin room slightly smaller then expected, honestly an amazing 4.75 star stay at a 2 star price
-
A good budget hotel if you have business nearby.

Staff throughout the building are kind, upbeat and frequently offer to help. Food is tasty and interesting in all three restaurants. I enjoy eating alone or entertaining friends.

I think it’s ridiculous that guests traveling with dogs are expected to pay the same rate as other patrons, in addition to paying a pet fee, yet are denied access to the same amenities. If I’m paying the same as everyone else—and paying extra because I have a dog—I should be afforded the same experience and accommodations as any other guest.

Very nice property and friendly staff. The rooms a very basic but functional and just fine for those who want to be out exploring and only looking to sleep, shower and enjoy their days out

It was a bit noisy at night.

A microwave and a mini fridge

My go to hotel for all my DC trips! Parking is the only annoying thing! However, location is perfect!! I love the beautiful boutique elegance!!
-
Hotel was great, loved all the restaurant options as well as the walkability to other bars, restaurants and nightlife. My only issue was our room was a little hot, the ac didn’t seem to work well and parking was limited. Not sure if it was just our room or because of the old building; otherwise our stay was amazing. Would definitely visit again!

Excellent hotel, and the bar adds an extra vibe.

Helped with my puppy. Amazing staff.
-
The only disappointment was the breakfast slow service and often lack of staff. I waited 10 minutes on one occasion and left because there was no staff presence.

Great location. Beautiful space. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great to have a fridge is the room. Having a microwave in the room would be a nice addition but appreciated that there was one in the lobby guest could use. Would also be nice to have more power outlets in the room. The coffee maker was set up on a desk but there was no outlet close by. We had to move the coffee maker to a small end table that was just large enough to fit the coffee maker. While it was a little awkward it was manageable. We would definitely stay again.
