The staff was amazing. We left some items behind in the room and they were kind enough to retrieve them for us after we checked out. We were able to check in early and everyone at the front desk had a great attitude. It was tricky to find the entrance to the hotel. GPS had us driving around. We needed to set it up for the Spy Museum! Wish we knew this ahead of time.

The hotel is in need of renovation and the hotel is connected to a mall downstairs which has cockroaches in it. The sheets on the bed had holes in them. The room was very dusty. The only parking available is valet and it’s $65 dollars a night. We loved the close walking to the National mall and the Starbucks inside the hotel.

Uncomfortable beds and pillows- hard as rocks. Ice machines did not work on our floor or the floor below or above us.

The bedsheets had not been changed from the previous guest. When I pulled the covers back to go to bed, there were a lot of crumbs on the sheets. I went downstairs to speak with someone and the clerk offered to send housekeeping or move us to a different room. I was traveling with my kids so I elected to have housekeeping come. Housekeeping showed up about 20 minutes later and changed the bedding except she did not change the pillowcases. I didn’t think about it until she had left and we were tired so I just used the pillows from the other bed. Other than this issue everything was fine with our stay.

Went to a concert in DC and stayed here. Very convenient and great value!

The location between the museums at the Smithsonian and restaurants at the Wharf was very convenient. The staff was helpful. We used the valet parking which made parking easy. We walked to the Smithsonian and to the Wharf for dinner. The second night we had dinner at the Hilton because we we spent the whole day walking at the museums. On another day, we might have Ubered to the restaurant, but so many streets were blocked by the Freedom 250 Grand Prix that this didn't seem practical. It was nice to have food choices with a restaurant, a Starbucks, and a food court at the hotel. There is also a Metro stop below the Hilton.

Overall, the hotel was very nice. Great location. Well maintained. The only problem we had was accessing the valet parking. The GPS instructions were not successful in navigating us to the front door. We ended up driving in circles and mistakenly entered a public parking lot under the hotel before finally calling the front desk for help. The attendant had to give us turn by turn directions.
