Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf

Perfect location, clean and well kept hotel

$30 a pop for a hot breakfast that you could get included at a Marriott! Other than that, it’s perfectly positioned if you wanna hit the Smithsonian’s and the national mall! It has a metro station and city bike share is right down the street! The warf is a 10 minute walk away with plenty of food options! Rooms were clean and hotel maids did a great job!

Anissa was an absolute pleasure. She was helpful went over and beyond we just can’t say enough good things about her. Our only complaint with our trip was the TV it was malfunctioning and would turn on every 10-15 minutes beginning at midnight. We were offered another room but we had so many bags and kids we just chose to have the TV unplugged.

There is a Starbucks in the lobby as well as a restaurant/bar that also serves breakfast (extra cost but good variety). There are restaurants in the mall before the hotel, but we didn't enjoy the two we tried. There is a large fitness room and a rooftop pool. The pool was closed the first few days, which was unfortunate timing for our family vacation. It was extremely clean and larger than most hotel pools, but didn't seem to be heated. Families didn't hang out there long. Hotel staff were very nice. Downsides would be our room could've been swept and dusted a lot better and there was a weird bathroom window. It has a blind but is very bright for others sleeping, and you can kind of see through the blind when someone else is in the bathroom. Overall, our stay was very nice, and the pros FAR outweighed the cons.

This location is very useful getting around the city. It has easy access to the Metro and located close to the National Mall. If you’re ok with walking up to a mile or more. Just about every monument or museum can be accessed from here besides Arlington Cemetery (just use the Metro or Rideshare). Perfect location traveling with children. I always felt safe here with a constant presence of security in the lobby. I highly recommend taking advantage of the morning breakfast buffet, It’s very convenient and offers something for everyone. Look for Muhammad he will take great care of you and offers great service.

Very clean room/property. Pool opens too late and also would be better for expanded late night food options.

Great location for exploring DC. The hotel room and hallways are in need of an update and deep clean.

Very clean. nice big bedrooms. nice rooftop pool. full gym was also very nice. free bottled water was a plus. very close to the Castle Smithsonian. and easy access to the capital mall area. right on top of the metro and food court next door. Workers were very friendly and helpful. They also let you drop off your bags early if you get there before check in. Great place, highly recommend.

Property was confusing to find. Hallways needed to be vacuumed. Room was very clean and stocked with a few things. Beds were comfortable. Shower worked well. Breakfast was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the $30.00 price tag per person. Staff was friendly.

Clean, comfortable beds, nice location, quiet. No free breakfast like other Hilton locations, no bathroom fan, strange glass opening in bathroom, tv kept pixelating on most channels.

The Room was nice.. We went for the pool and was told it would be closing when we checked in…ginger ale was 6$ 🙄..Probably won’t be going back
