InterContinental Washington D.C. - The Wharf by IHG

Everything was wonderful except the mattresses were a little more firm than my wife and I would like. I woke up with back pain each day.

Great location

This hotel is amazing from the staff, the rooms, and location. Everyone was so helpful and I only wish the pool area was bigger with more lounge chairs and umbrellas. The views are amazing and very conveniently located. Rooms are clean, modern, and so homey. We’ve stayed here for past 3 years and love it every time. The only complaint would be the drinks are very expensive, but expected being in DC. We haven’t eaten at the restaurant, so can’t comment on it—but looks great too!

Our stay was very enjoyable. Hotel in center of the Wharf area which is full of restaurants and entertainment. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is located in very safe neighborhood and a close proximity to every tourist attractions. Highly recommend it to family or solo guest visiting the DC area.

We chose the hotel because it had a spa, which didnt disappoint and an outdoor pool. Overall hotel is very well maintained. Pool area a little small for the amount of guests, not enough lounge chairs..However Moises at the pool bar is a gem. Smiles easily, patient- considering ordering food can be challenging...he could use a food runner when its busy. Hotel ambience upscale and we felt safe. Our room was very nice and clean, Updated decor, spacious. Complimentary soap, shampoo etc were very, very nice. The view from our room not so nice as we mainly faced a brick wall, they should have discussed a possible upgrade$$?? Fortunately, we were only in the room for the most part to shower and sleep. Room was very quiet. The Restaurant wasvery busy and was challenged at breakfast time...seating and service experienced delays but the staff was always pleasant. Breakfast was pricey. Location on the Wharf was excellent. Would definitely stay again but would discuss room location and possible breakfast included price!

The hotel is very nice. We were greeted by Adrianne who was very polite and super friendly. Room was bigger than I expected and very clean and modern with lots of USB ports. Great drinks and staff at the restaurant. Great location too. We will return

It turned out to be a great decision. Wonderful location !Restaurants all along the River. The staff was very helpful. My husband was having health issues and they were very attentive.

Modern and clean property. Excellent location on the Wharf. They have a rooftop pool, but it is very small.

We enjoyed our entire experience at the International Washington hotel. The staff, the venue were all in great shape. Food at the hotel was ok

Great staff! Property clean and maintained (issues resolved quickly after told). NO breakfast included. Menu full and high priced meals. You can ask for a mini fridge for room.
