This was a lovely hotel with helpful staff in such a great location. I had an awesome trip and stay at the InterContinental!

I got a call the morning of my flight and the event I was going to attend later that day, that my room was cancelled and there were no other rooms available—on the day of the event! I booked the flight and hotel room months in advance and got charged for it and suddenly the morning of the event we’re flying to DC they cancelled my room??? Are you kidding me!

What made our visit truly exceptional was your staff. Everyone was remarkably attentive and consistently ensured all of our needs were met.

The room was great! Bedroom comfortable. Very clean. Professional and courteous staff. Would absolutely stay here again! Restaurant was the worst breakfast I've had in a very long time. Don't waste your time or money there.

The hotel is lovely and convenient, the rooms spacious and clean, and the staff warm and helpful. But Teddy took hospitality to another level. My kids came back from an epic concert STARVING at 11:30 on a Sunday night. I shuffled down to the lobby in my pajamas, hoping to find a bag of chips or something to keep the teenagers alive until morning. I found Teddy and asked if he knew anywhere I could still get food. He said, “Pizza and pasta okay? Follow me. I’ll take you to where we go.” And he did! He walked me down the block to a lively Italian place I never would have found on my own, went inside, and made sure they would take care of me. Then he disappeared back into the night like the angel he was. Within 15 minutes, I was back at the hotel with pizzas. I’d never been to The Wharf and had no idea where I was or what might still be open. Teddy could have simply pointed me in a direction. Instead, he immediately took it upon himself to solve my problem and literally walked me to the solution. That is hospitality. The beautiful hotel may have gotten us there the first time. Teddy is the reason we’ll come back.

Having to pay for parking and a $30 per day amenities fee. This should have been in the price. Also $40 for breakfast is outrageous

The location was fantastic, as it was right on the Wharf, so there was plenty to see and do. The hotel staff were amazing and upgraded my room for my husband and my wedding anniversary. We had booked a room with the wharf view but they gave us a river view with a balcony. Walking into the room the first time and every day after was such a treat. It was just perfect for our anniversary. Before our stay, I had been in touch with Shujaat Khan-the chief concierge who helped coordinate prior arrangements like getting our room decorated. Shujaat demonstrated genuine care and an exceptional level of customer service. We were provided complimentary treats to mark the occasion. Trey at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly always made us feel welcome and looked after. We will certainly be staying again. I didn't dislike anything. The only thing I can say is that it should be clear to customers with rooms that include breakfast that breakfast has a certain value, and beyond that, the customer will need to pay. We found this out when we were checking out. We were also told that we would receive our depositi 4-5 weeks later, but we're still waiting for it :)
