Upon entering the hotel, it is self checkin, but a staff member asks you foe ID and credit card. The lady we had was extremely rude and condescending. She did not give us any direction or information on how the hotel runs or how to get to our room or hae the elevators. She immediately judged us because of our credit card photo. She judged us and reacted unprofessionally. Rooms are very small. No windows to open. Everything controlled by an IPAD. The AC does not get cold. We were all hot every night. The toilet is in with the shower. Not much privacy. You really will get to know your partner. The bed is a square. If you dont sleep with your head against the window then you have to climb over your partner. They do not provide water unless you ask, no cups, unless you ask, the trash cans are so small. The water pressure lacks and the temp of the water only gets to 100 degrees which seems hot but isn't. The elevators have provacative videos of half naked people dancing. Very strange. We ran into only 2 friendly employees our entire stay. Will not stay here again.

Everything was great!

The location was fantastic. Just a two minute walk to my office building. I liked the location of the parking garage to the property but would like to see a way to get to the hotel via elevator rather than walking around the block or going up the ramp. No place to really eat on property or around the couple blocks. The rooftop sushi was just okay, But there was not much of a menu there. The sandwich bar on the lobby level didn't have much. Thank god for the Subway across the street. I used it twice in three days for dinner. Room is just super small. Had to go into the hallway to change my mind. I'm an older person so I didn't like using the ipad for everything. This is not a hotel that I would ever stay at with my wife just because of the space so for the limited purpose of my meetings it worked okay but not by much. Breakfast was just okay. Never used the bar other than at the sushi place but it was pretty expensive.

The location is stellar. However the size of room is a little larger than a train berth. Everything in the room has to be controlled by an iPad. None of the lights are switched separately which means you cannot decide which lights to leave on at night- they decide for you based on the nighttime setting

Fun atmosphere and good location. Nice staff. Parking wasn’t directly available but hotel made sure we were aware of the options. The room was smaller than expected, especially for the price point. Design some may like or not, and at first room wasn’t stocked well with enough towels (for 2) so had to request more than one.

Wonderful and comfortable bed linen and pillows.

The bed and shower were amazing - so recharging. my wife is very curious what was the pillows and blanket brands as she now wants to get same for our home. Of this is something you know/could share, I would really appreciate it. I personally liked a lot the fact that all the towels and bed sheets, pillows, blanket did not smell with any detergent. No frutty smells is great, please keep it this way if possible. It was a little hassle to operate the elevators requiring the room key, but that's ok.

Really liked the property

Bed was very comfortable and loved it in the window. Also loved visiting with friends in the roof. Breakfast was fantastic. I know it is DC, but room and breakfast and parking were all very $$$

Staff and location The room was unbelievably small. I have never seen a room like that in my life. Had to crawl over my wife to get out of bed. We were bumping into each other just trying to get dressed. Who in the world created that concept?

Coffee bar and rooftop bar were a nice touch

It was a perfect location right around the corner from the Metro. The gym was one of the best small hotel gyms I've used to date. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable! Please have filtered coffee available all day. That was the only bummer. Loved the funky vibe.

Clean room, friendly staff, yummy potatoes and bacon at breakfast

This hotel should be marketed to single travelers only. The rooms are too small for 2 people. King sized bed against a wall means that someone needs to climb over the other to get in and out. There’s almost no bathroom privacy. The lighting controls were very confusing. More staff is needed behind the bar.
