Smallest king-bed room ever. The whole room was as wide as the bed with no space to walk around it. Almost no space for your luggage or clothes. Bed comfort was mediocre.

A very unique experience. Rooms are very small, but don’t let that discourage you. Very modern and comfortable. Will stay there again next time we are in DC.

The room was very modern. We liked it. Our space age tv setup didn't work but staff did offer to move us to another room. We weren't in the room very much so we declined. All of the staff we interacted with were very helpful and polite.

Great place for a solo traveller! The room was perfect with a view of the Capitol. The location was perfect if you are a 'walker' as I checked out all of the beautiful memorials, the museums, and when I needed to get a bit farther like Arlington Cemetary, I used the Metro which was close by. Dining close by included the riverfront which had great bars and great food! I DEFINITELY would choose Citizens again in the future!

The perfect location if you’re hitting the museums and main sightseeing spots with a 3 minute walk to the Metro. Very clean and quiet hotel. The rooms were perfect for a few nights stay. I was alone so it was perfect, but I would book two rooms unless you are a couple. I will definitely be staying again on my next trip.

Very clean and modern hotel with a unique design throughout. The place really stood out to us and we will be planning another visit there. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the restaurant and cleaners.

The self-check-in process was incredibly fast and easy—it took about two minutes to get our room keys. Once we got to our room, we were completely amazed. The room was modern, thoughtfully designed, and packed with features that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The highlight of our stay was the bed. We honestly slept better than we have at any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It was the best night’s sleep we’ve had while traveling, and that alone would make us want to come back. Overall, this was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We highly recommend citizenM.

Rooms are small - great for solo traveler - but sink area and lighting is a little challenging when getting ready. Everything (lights, tv, blinds) runs via iPad - mine quit working on the last day. That being said, this will still be my go to hotel when I travel again! Restaurant options in the hotel was welcomed after long days - staff all very friendly

Great location. No parking, but we found parking in front of the hotel that was free without restrictions. The rooms are tiny - which is the citizen brand. We somehow missed it. The bed is perched against the window and walls, no way to walk around it. With two people, one has to crawl over the other to get out. That said, the price for DC and the location is moderate. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast for $25 was delicious. We would stay again for 1 night.
