Residence Inn by Marriott Washington, DC National Mall

The sofa bed in one of my bedrooms wasn’t thick enough, and it was very uncomfortable.

Breakfast was amazing every morning. Staff was super accommodating. The area is quiet and felt safe. Great location to the Metro. Lots of the places close to grab food/coffee do have weird hours though. Room was spacious. Pillows were nice but bed was a bit hard for my taste but not horrible. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was closed to all the DC attractions. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well.

was working before he left. Around 1:30am I woke up drenched in sweat and thought no way this can't be happening again. It was 76° in our room. It was 1am I wasn't going to move my whole family AGAIN. So we dealt with it. After breakfast we checked out. I was told by the front desk that the AC is motion detected but how would that work if someone is sleeping?? We just didn't understand our first night the AC worked fine. Breakfast was nice plenty of selections from cold breakfast to hot, down to stewed chicken!!

Rooms were very clean,friendly staff,great breakfast selection and central to many attractions.Great for families.Will stay again if going back to DC.

Room was very clean and nice. Breakfast was good coffee was good. Staff was very nice. I loved the fact the hotel is very close to the Bible Museum. When I come back to DC this is the place to stay.

Breakfast excellent

It was a great choice for my family of 6, We had lots of room to spread out, and the kitchen and full-size refrigerator was helpful to store food items we brought that needed to stay chilled while we were there for several days. This hotel was a great choice for us and would choose it again!

Room was very clean and could tell it was recently remodeled. The hotel itself was clean and well kept. The buffet breakfast was large and nice. There was a workout room with plenty of equipment. The only thing I disliked was the interior pool and hot tub. The hot tub jets were broken during my 4 day stay and the room was toxic with chlorine fumes. There was no ventilation in that room at all.

This property is in a great location. The breakfast is buffet style with many choices to fit all diets. My kids enjoyed the pool. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly. I was impressed with how quickly they helped out. This was especially true during breakfast. I was impressed by how clean the pool and pool area was. I would definitely stay here again.

We had everything we needed. We also liked having a secure parking space for our car. We saw everything we wanted to see. It was a great mini vacation!

For the price of our stay, I excepted a bit more. I’ve stayed at the residence inn in Newport Rhode Island and it was 1000 times better.
