Everything was excellent, except..the coffee. The coffee is only out in the morning AND tastes stale. Everything else from the maintenance, to the pool, to the bed linens, to the cleanliness of f the room and entire hotel, to the ease of parking was excellent.

Our bathroom door would not latch or lock. The doors are a poor design. The air conditioner stopped working on the second day. It was fixed for us. Staff was great.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a long time There was a great variety of choices, and everything was fresh and delicious. The only downside was the street closures due to the Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington, DC, which was taking place during my stay. However, this was no fault of the hotel. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay at Hyatt Place DC again. The location was perfect for visiting the Museum of the Bible.

I was disappointed by the breakfast. It had many options, both hot and cold but the daily scrambled eggs were always way past well done and the turkey (not pork) sausages were dry and tasteless. Bacon was served only once during my 5 breakfasts. The fresh fruit was mostly still too green. The staff was friendly and professional.

There weren’t a lot of options for meals nearby. Continental breakfast was not good, hardly edible.
