The location of the property is probably the best thing about the hotel. I got the riverfront room, while the view was absolutely amazing, but because of that it gets direct sunlight and being there when it was over a hundred degrees was so uncomfortably hot, the temperature in the room was never goes down below 75 even at night with the curtains all closed so if you run hot don’t book this room in summer ( I talked to the front desk about this and they said they sent an engineer to check but couldn’t do anything because of the room location, and didn’t offer other room might be because they sold out?). Pool was nice, quite small but understandable. My room wasn’t the cleanest there was a finger nail left on the desk, the remote control smelled like fried chicken. Breakfast was good. Overall it’s just ok for me.

Stayed for the 4th for America's 250. It was amazing, very busy, but you could not tell in the hotel. The staff was on point, the room was clean, and the location was amazing.

Great location!!! Beautiful property!!

The hotel was packed, and they still handed out day passes for the pool. Stupid, for the pool was overcrowded every day during my stay. Also had to tell the pool maintenance tech how to clean up the light cloudiness. He ordered the needed parts that same day.

good room and nice area.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at recently. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was neat, clean, and appeared to be quite new. The bathroom was spacious, as was the shower. The room included a kitchenette, a loveseat, an ottoman, and a king-sized bed. The complimentary breakfast and coffee bar were exceptional. The hotel is located on the wharf, offering plenty of dining and dessert options. If we ever return to DC, we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great. Everything was clean and neat. They have fire pits outside to sit around. Breakfast was awesome. Only thing I was upset about is they did not give us the room i reserved and paid for. And did not have any more avaliable

the location in relation to The Anthem using the keycard for every movement
-
It was close to the venue I needed to go to there was absolutely no parking when I arrived at the facility and there were also no signs pointing to which valet to ask for, where the hotel was from the road. it was very very difficult to find.

Excelente ubicación lugar con vistas maravillosas y realmente limpio
-
Easy to get around, everything was clean The elevator system with key cards kinda sucks. Hard with multiple kids and getting on or off, especially if the wrong floor is selected on accident.

Very nice everything

Staying at the wharf was a great location. It was easy to get to the national mall by bike or by shadow you can even walk it if the weather is nice there is a bike share portal right outside a hotel. We left the courtyard on the second floor. We also loved the courtyard behind the bar. We sat in the courtyard and enjoy a nice takeout dinner. The water Taxi is right next to the hotel. We took the water taxi to Georgetown fantastic ride. One downside is Hotel entrance is difficult to find the hotel is huge and beautifully designed. But the entrance is tucked in the alley in a parking lot once you find it it’s OK but we had difficulty finding it on the first day.

A reservation for two adults and two children should not automatically be interpreted as a couple traveling with children. Expecting two unrelated adults to share a bed demonstrates a lack of attention to guests' actual needs. When I explained the problem and requested a room with two queen beds, I was simply told that those rooms did not have sofa beds. The issue was never properly addressed. Even worse, the front desk employee told me he could not confirm what type of reservation I had made because he "was not with me when I made it." That response was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I then asked the hotel to contact Booking.com to cancel my reservation. They claimed they had done so, but when I asked for the name of the agent or a case number, they had neither. As a frequent Booking.com Genius member, I know this is not how these situations are normally handled. The lack of transparency seriously undermined my confidence in what I was being told. After spending far too much time trying to resolve the issue, with my children and my elderly sister-in-law exhausted, I finally gave up. The hotel eventually offered a USD 200 discount, but that did not compensate for the stress, poor treatment, or complete lack of customer care. The hotel also failed in several other areas. Staff members were not consistently identifiable, the breakfast was basic and noisy, the shower had extremely poor water pressure, and the location—although convenient—is surrounded by bars and nightclubs, making it far too noisy for families or anyone hoping to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel/property was very close to the Wharf which was amazing. Located right in the midst of many restaurants and excellent atmosphere. The staff were friendly and it was very comfortable.

Rooms are fair, perhaps not huge but have everything you need. Sofa bed is good for two adults. Breakfast is also fine, is the same buffet every day so if you are staying more than three or four days you might need something different. Bar has different options to choose and you can opt to bring the drinks with you to the outdoor terrace. Staff was always friendly and supportive, thanks to Toni at the front desk!
