Motel 6 Washington, DC - Convention Center

Nothing. When I got there I was informed it was permanently closed and had to find alternate arrangements….. The fact they didn’t let me know prior to my stay that I wouldn’t be able to stay there…

I stayed at the Motel 6 for the Okaton convention. It wasn’t far from the NoMa Metro station, which was convenient. The room was a bit questionable, not gonna lie — I kind of wished I had one of those TikTok door locks for extra security. I even put a chair in front of the door at night just to feel a little safer. But overall, my daughter enjoyed the trip, so that made it worth it.

Nothing I booked this a few months in advance. When I arrived the motel was completely empty. I received no word about this from the Motel. I had to book another motel on the spot; thankfully cell phones exist. Now I have to fight with Booking.com to get back the money I paid to this motel though I couldn't stay there. If Booking.com is a serious business they will de-list this property. I will add for the purposes of this review this place also looked dingy as hell in person. Do not book here under any circumstances.

Not applicable, since I was not able to stay at this location; it was no longer in use. When I arrived in the afternoon of September 13, this Motel 6 location was completely abandoned. The Motel 6 sign had been removed, all sorts of what seemed to be interior items from the motel had been stacked up on the outside of the establishment, and the area was cordoned off. Since it was impossible to stay here, I looked for other accommodation. Now I'm trying to get back the money I paid for my planned stay at this location.

There was no breakfast There were not enough towels for all of us in the room. There were a lot of cockroaches. Mold.

It was great. Cheap room, clean, ac worked well. No microwave. The only toiletry was soap.

This was very conveniently placed. There was one cleaning person who was very helpful. She was great. The room was rather worn down. My room was not ready because it had to be clean. When I came back from exploring the area the room did not look like it had been cleaned at all. I used one of the towels to clean some surfaces and it was filthy. I asked manager for more towels and he acted like I was trying to do something nefarious.

Nothing. Toilet had ass hair and pee on it, sink and counter top had stinky dried residue and floor had dried blood on it. Sheets and comforter had rips and burn holes in it.
