The LINE Hotel DC

Great location in Adams Morgan - only hotel in this area. Rooms are spacious and have interesting views and decor. Food is good at restaurant and coffee bar downstairs. Close to lots of shops and restaurants and bus lines (Metro is a longer walk) Rooms are a bit run down - hotel is due for a major refresh. Some staff are great and others seem disinterested.

The staff is helpful, the restaurant however, has gone downhill. I had to send back my breakfast twice. Disappointed in restaurant but overall hotel is very nice.

The property was great. The location was perfect for me. I did not use any of the amenities so that was why I only rated them 3 stars but they are available if you want them. I would definitely stay here again.

Incredible building and used to be one of my favorites. Still a special place but man it needs some love. The gym used to be one of the most epic amenities in all of DC but it is badly in need of a refresh :(

Excellent location and spacious room there was only one chair in the room, housekeeping and the considerable amount of deposit was not mentioned in the terms of booking

Location Standard size ironing board will be good, the current ironing board stands didn’t work.

Bathroom was beautiful and served as an oasis away from home. Food options were limited but there’s many places in walking distance.

It’s a beautiful building with many interesting things to do and look at. Don’t be alarmed by the hallways because the rooms are really exceptional!

Great beds! Comfy! Checking in only post 6pm and a very uncomfortable experience in the dark parking garage like foyer. We were given apologies but nothing to compensate. Not even our luggage was being taken to the room. We had to lug that up Ourselves. Would have appreciated a free breakfast, glass of champagne etc. the breakfast was a joke (no buffet but a croissant).

The room was dirty on arrival. There were soiled sheets left in the room, no towels had been provided, and used toilet paper rolls were sitting by the entrance. Basic cleaning and turnover clearly hadn't been done before check-in. What made it worse was the staff. When I raised these issues, they were unhelpful and dismissive rather than working to fix the problem. As a repeat guest, I expected better. I'm sharing this so management is aware and so other travelers know what to check for. I hope the housekeeping and service standards are addressed.

Amazing.

When we made the reservation, the additional charges were not clearly presented. The information appeared only at the bottom of the reservation details and was very easy to miss. We were later informed that the hotel charges a **$150 deposit per day** and a **$31.31 resort fee per room, per night**, plus applicable taxes. Had these charges been clearly disclosed upfront, we likely would not have booked the hotel. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk made the situation even worse. The staff was not very friendly and did not seem willing to make much effort to accommodate our request or help find a reasonable solution. We expected a more welcoming and professional level of service, especially when raising a legitimate concern. Between the poorly disclosed fees and the unfriendly, unhelpful front desk experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. I strongly suggest that anyone considering booking here carefully review all fees and policies before making a reservation.
