Comfort Inn Waukesha - Milwaukee West

Hotel- yikes. Old. Window air conditioners. Old carpet. Everything is old and should have been updated in the 90s. It was the only thing available, and I was shocked by how dilapidated it was.

The guests upstairs noisy.

We were pleased with all phases of the Comfort Inn, from checking in on Sunday evening until checking out Wednesday morning. The rooms were clean, the maid service friendly and courteous as were the help at the continental breakfast area.

It is a much older hotel than I expected. Upon arrival into our room, the toilet was not working because it was clogged with a bar of soap. Our room was warm because the AC would not consistently stay on. It would kick in and out.

My room had a full kitchen but there were no pots/pans, dishes, silverware, glasses. Why have a kitchen that can’t be used. The room was very clean. Housekeeping was very polite and accommodating.

The hotel was clean and very quiet. The lication is close a few restaurants, as a matter of fact one was so close that when you step out of the hotel parking lot, you are literally in the restaurant parking lot. I didn't like the fact that the room didn't have blackout curtains/drapes. They had a see thru mesh in the middle of the curtains/drapes the you couldn't cover. So if you wanted to get dressed in the actual room, other people across the way could see you if your lights are on.

Clean rooms.

Groups of Men behind the hotel smoking weed and grilling in there truck beds. Not a good look. In fact my room smelled like weed the whole time I was at the Hotel.

Clean facility, ok location. Boring breakfast. Not many restaurants nearby.

Don't pay extra for the suite. I was led to believe i had the suite with the jetted tub. When I checked in I was told that wasn't the case. The suite I got was just sad looking. A giant room with the same things you would have in a regular room. No couch or anything to fill in the empty space. Bathroom was low quality. Felt like the tub was going to crumble beneath my feet. Definitely save the extra money because the suite won't impress anyone

This hotel sold out our reservation before we arrived from a venue and then claimed they didn't have our reservation.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

At first thought drapes did not close so light from light poles at night shined in our room, but found the 3rd drape so all was good
