Very clean Expensive, especially for being outside of New York

Good location Poor staff and communication , still didn’t get refund which they promised for shortening the stay.

It's close to Manhatten, quiet at night, and extraordinarily clean. And love the view from the hotel.

Location Very disappointing experience. When we arrived, we were made to wait THREE HOURS before we were finally given our rooms. During that time, we sat in the lobby watching other guests receive their rooms while we kept being told, “15 more minutes.” Every time we asked for an update, the staff would whisper among themselves but never give us a clear explanation. We basically lost our entire afternoon sitting in the hotel lobby waiting. After three hours, we finally received our rooms. I do want to mention that the supervisor was very kind, apologized for what happened, and upgraded us to a room with a beautiful view, which we appreciated. However, they still weren’t able to put our rooms on the same floor. Unfortunately, the upgrade did not make up for the frustration of spending three hours of our trip waiting in a lobby with no clear explanation or realistic estimate of when our rooms would be ready. We will not be returning to this hotel.

The internet bandwidth is so 2010. Avoid if possible. If no steps are taken to address the issues, this place slip down to 2 star.

The best location

Parking was another big plus. It was easy to access and only $22 per night, which is a great deal compared with parking prices in New York. The guest service was outstanding and the hotel looked great from inside. The one major issue—and something I think management should seriously look into—was the quality of the pillows. They were far from comfortable and made it difficult for us to get a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the mattress wasn’t very comfortable either. Improving the bedding would make a big difference to the overall guest experience.

Check-in was a disaster. I was given my key and no explanation as to where things were, what’s included and what’s not. The halls were full of carts and laundry. My room phone did not work. I went on a scavenger hunt to find my remote. The mini mart was empty with the exception of beers. The three stars were only for the views. It was busy during my stay but that was no excuse for the price I paid. I also had to pay for an upgrade because they gave me the wrong room. Horrible experience.
