DoubleTree by Hilton West Fargo Sanford Medical Center Area

The rooms were really nice and clean. Our first room's TV wasn't working, so we called for help. The front desk said they'd try to get ahold of someone to fix it. After not hearing anything for 45 minutes, we called back down to find that she couldn't find anyone. We switched rooms where the TV worked, but there was an extra fridge in the walkway of the room. It worked well, but it was just in the way. Aside from the staff not being helpful or following up (and there being no cookies upon check in or check out! -- I talked up the cookies and was so looking forward to them) the hotel was fantastic, the rooms were comfy and it's in a great location. The bed was a bit hard, but it's hard to find a hotel where they aren't. Hopefully next time it's a little smoother sailing.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and it was nice and quiet even with a wedding going on in the ballroom. I will say the room quality needs some addressing, we had wallpaper peeling off the wall in our bedroom of the suit and the carpet in the entryway and living room was dirty and needed vacuuming. The light for the entryway of the hotel was burned out to which they had replaced while we were at dinner which was awesome and quickly done. I think it can be an excellent hotel with some tidying up. Parking and staff were also easy to find and helpful.

The TV in the bedroom had cords that were detached the TV in the living room was dark. They advertise that I would automatically be logged out of my YouTube and Netflix account upon checkout, but I wasn’t. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay opened or closed. It needs a magnet on the back of the door to hold it in place.. the refrigerator freezes stuff. And the do not disturb sign comes off of the door handle too easily.

The air conditioning in our room did not work and even after maintenance was up to fix it, still no A/C. When I informed the desk staff upon check out she didn’t seem to care Also the refrigerator did not have a knob to adjust the coldness and we had to get someone to come and adjust the temperature. Needs some attention, not a property Hilton should be proud of…

I was disappointed in the friendliness of the staff. The were not helpful and not one smiled at us, While checking in, asking for an airport shuttle and when leaving they acted very cold and unfriendly.

Location from my son’s sporting event was nice. Breakfast would’ve been nice if it was included considering the price. I brought my all of 5 children to the hockey tournament in Fargo solely because the middle children wanted to swim. My mother booked an additional room to come with, to stay back with them and swim while I took the other to his hockey games. Sadly the pool had an extreme amount of chemicals in it. So much so, it chemically burned one of my children’s skin. He also started dry heaving in the room for a bit before we could get him in the shower to clean the chemicals off his skin. Bed time was rough as their skin hurt and complaining of their eyes burning. Again this was why they all came with. So they could swim while with grandma while I took the other to his hockey games. This made it difficult to occupy them during that time and unable to watch parts of the game. We don’t travel often with 5 kids so very sad and disappointing they weren’t able to do that. Finally, while packing up to leave I told the boys to look everywhere so we didn’t leave anything. My 9 year old found a pair of women’s dirty underwear on the side of the couch. Gross. (Clearly not any of ours)

The restaurant menu shown everywhere was not available. A very limited, frankly lousy, subset was available. That was not good, we had plans and made selections for food. Then called room service- no answer. Tried three times without success. Went down to order in person only to find out what little was available. This needs to be corrected.

Very good location for us worked out great Lounge and restaurant was great. Food was really good.

The hotel is beautiful, staff were really nice, easy check-in. I did book through hotels.com the Suite, Accessible, Bathtub (Mobility & Hearing, 2 Rooms) which I wanted to my son to enjoy his own King bed. But we got to the room and it was a standard 2 queens with pull out couch, which was fine, and the rate we paid was an adjustment of $20 which wasn't much. Close to Costco otherwise, not much else nearby, quiet neighbourhood.

The sheets appeared to be dirty. The footstool was broken, the top dresser drawer was broken. I was on the 4th floor, their was very little water pressure in the shower, and 1 of the 2 elevators was out of service for 2 of the 3 days I stayed here. I told the front staff about these issues. They didn't seem to care. In addition the room was only cleaned every other day. I asked the front desk about this and they told me this is their company policy. Ridiculous! In my opinion, this Hotel does not do a good job of representing the Hilton brand.

The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was cold - - no hot water.

They texted me to let me know if I need anything I should text them back. That was cool. Everything was good

Breakfast was absolutely delicious, comfy beds, two tvs made the kiddos happy, pullout sofas were comfortable, bathtub was AMAZING for toddlers and those who couldn't swim in the pool. I can't think of a single thing. Maybe if the property was a mile closer? Honestly, it's a great hotel and the amenities were wonderful. Honestly, just wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved our stay. It was close to everything we needed. The staff was all super nice. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are showing their age and showers were less desirable. The grout lines were very black. The hot tub was cold, like 96 degrees. The pool was colder. The check in front staff was super friendly and staff in general was very good. Was expecting more from a Double Tree but not everything ages like wine.
