Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Fargo Medical Center

Stopped here after a long day of driving. I booked a queen room and ended up in a suite. Very friendly check-in. I wasn’t impressed by the breakfast, went to a local grocery store instead. I’ve only had good experiences at Microtels. They are my go to.

The best thing about this was the location, very close to Sanford Hospital, Fargo. That was the primary reason we stayed there, the other was that it was a Wyndham Brand. The bathroom did not seem to be as clean as it should be. There was dust/mould buildup in some corners and on the tile, and the room was not cleaned during the stay. Understand changing the sheets and towels every three days, but the garbage should have been collected and the beds made. The water temperature selector was very loose, as was the toilet seat.

Very clean and accommodating staff. Keys were a bit of a pain. It Wouldn't work if left in wallet with other magnetic cards. Breakfast is my main concern. Breakfast could have been better with the pricing. Only bagels, toast, eggs, biscuits and gravy (gravy tastes way off. Taste like it was water down and still have soap.) And cereal. Entry and exit into the property is quite a pain too. Single point of entry/exit. Everything else is great. Nice clean rooms. Clean towels/sheets. Cool ac. overall good experience. Will I stay here again? Definitely, IF the breakfast is UPGRADED to a more modern continental breakfast. (Sausage, OJ juice, waffles, ect). Otherwise, there are other very competitive places with better options for the same price.

Breakfast was very sub par

Reserved a king suite; received an impossibly cramped, claustrophobic double queen with no light--and no lamps. Left after one of four nights and the hotel refused to refund the balance. Despicable organization, horrible people.

The hot breakfast wasn’t cooked properly in the morning. Their excuse was oven broke. The hot tub didn’t work.

The room was clean and spacious. It was quiet and very good for a good night's rest. This hotel is right across the street from the Costco, so if you are a member, it's a good place to get something to eat. Breakfast was just okay, with some items not available when we were there.

I think they gave us the party room. Upon check in we were told our security deposit is for people, who drink, smoke and party. Not that they care. We almost stepped in vomit by the front doors when we arrived to check in. When we got in the room, the phone was missing a part, the walls were scuffed, the bathroom toilet was loose so was the sink tap. I hung onto to it so I could brush my teeth. I slept on top of the bed but not inside it. I was with my two adult girls so maybe they thought we were going to party. I probably won’t stay there again.

We appreciated the cleanliness of the facility and the employees were very welcoming and kind. The breakfast is terrible. Hard boiled eggs in hot water, some type of sausage balls, and crumbled up hash browns that were hard was not good at all. There were only 2 bran type muffins in the bin, the apples were soft. The only thing good was there was grape juice. Very disappointed in the breakfast.

Shower wouldn't drain, bed slanted and required adjustment, no place in bath to hang towels, not a great breakfast. Wouldn't book here again. The Microtel just across the river in Moorhead was much nicer.
