Very nice and helpful staff.

First of all, this iconic hotel IS the reason we booked there, and it did not disappoint in any way. We are a family of three (2 adults and 1 16 yr old.) The memorabilia, funky music-oriented decor, and edgy vibe is exactly what we wanted and expected. The rooms were spacious, and knowing that the street side may be rather noisy at night, we requested the view of the hills, which was met. We enjoyed the rooftop pool. Everything was perfect, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Valet only parking was fairly pricey, so we opted to park at a garage a short walk away. It would have been more convenient to park onsite, but no worries. It gave us an excuse to walk around West Hollywood more, which is fantastic for music and entertainment lovers!

Definitely would come back!

Great hotel. Only beef: $75 day parking. Freebies like snacks and coffee. Amazing location. Super nice and helpful staff.

I liked the free water and snacks. Staff was super nice!! There’s some outside noise, but they offer earplugs. There were some mini details of maintenance in the room that need to be taken care of. Also the lighting in the room is a hassle, 4 lamps that have to be turned on individually. The bathroom is very small in proportion to the room size. I ordered a lox and bagel for breakfast and it was just ok, for the setting of the hotel, I expected the good salmon, not the regular one.

The room was good. Large and clean Location on Sunset Blvd is noisy.

Under expectation unfortunately

Prime location and the pool was fantastic. Great sun loungers with nice towels and clean restrooms by the pool. Very clean room, but it was extremely humid and carpet was damp in multiple spots. Elevators were down for most of my stay and you had to use the service elevator. Food from the restaurant was awful.

I generally enjoyed my stay, and especially considering the location. Staff was great, the amenities were great.. however - you should know that Sunset Blvd is a very busy thoroughfare and that comes with high levels of noise. Get a higher floor to avoid this. Also, I had an incident in my room where I discovered a water bottle had inadvertently spilled into part of my suitcase. The only possibility was cleaning staff who had put too many things on their cart and it accidentally tipped over - but nobody told me. I found this out myself, which is unfortunate. The front desk gave me a voucher for breakfast as a result; I do appreciate it. I just wish the cleaning staff would be a bit more careful.

Elevator broke down. Other than that, perfect.

The only downside was the air conditioning unit in the room. It made a noticeable, somewhat annoying noise that was difficult to ignore while trying to sleep. Aside from that, everything else met or exceeded expectations, and I would still consider staying here again.
