Had a great stay. Room was excellent, staff was helpful. Safe location. Only downfall was the pool is listed open until 10pm, went to the rooftop at 8:30pm and found everything closed and no access to towels. Also only valet parking available for $70/night on top of the price of room/night is expensive. No street parking without permit after 7pm basically forcing you to valet.

Food was all amazing, and the room was surprisingly spacious

First hotel I have ever been to that immediately rejected even starting the check in process at 1pm. Yes I get check in time is 3pm but do you really want everyone lining up at 3pm to check in. Probably not. Start check in as people come and then call them when the room is available. Absolute turn off from the start. I even told them I would be checking out super early (which I did) but they didn’t care. Room also had an obnoxious humming noise on and off all day and night that interrupted my sanity and sleep. Used none of the amenities but still paid the resort fees. Yes it’s close to cool spots but not worth it at all. Stay somewhere nicer and take transportation. Would never go back here.

Perfect location close to everything, easy to get to very safe in a quiet part of West Hollywood Beverly Hills border. rooms were very spacious and had great amenities very comfortable stay My only suggestion is to be mindful of the detergent or fabric softener that you use to wash the sheets it was a very, very strong smell.. not a bad smell just a powerful detergent smell that gave me a bit of a reaction. However, when I alerted the front desk, they were extremely helpful and had housekeeping, change the sheets and all was great !

There were insects in the room, and throughout my two-night stay, ants repeatedly crawled onto the bed. This happened several times and made it very difficult to feel comfortable or relax properly. For a hotel in this price range, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and room maintenance. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the price I paid, and I was very disappointed.

It is terrific. Very clean and centrally located. The staff were very helpful. They may need some updating in the bathroom and kitchen due to aging, but otherwise terrific stay.

Lovely hotel with exceptional staff. Rooms were beautiful, functional and above and beyond what we expected. Will definitely recommend the Montrose to family and friends.

Fantastically quiet location yet near enough places to head for the evening. Great view of Downtown LA from our 5th floor room. Staff were great and very helpful. Nothing of any note. $75 was a bit steep for the overnight parking but they were willing to negotiate a cheaper rate.

I enjoyed the large room with kitchenette. Also the beautiful view from the rooftop deck. And I played pickleball free of charge also on the sports deck. Great location!
