Americas Best Value Inn West Monroe

Second day, I arrived and the AC was fully off so I turned it on. After about 2 hours I had to ask for another room dude to the AC not cooling down the room. The other room had the ac off as well so I never cooled down until about 2am. Third day, this room looks like it had never been vacuumed since the day the carpet was laid down. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Cigarette burns and random stains on all beds and comforters. I never received a room without burns or stains on everything. The overall worst hotel/motel I’ve ever seen. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t come home with bedbugs or something else.

Very busy location, rooms are old, staff were great. We stay couple hours and left, was to noisy for my husband.

The front desk clerk was kind, but the property wasn’t well lit or marked. There were a number of people loitering around outside giving the area an unsafe feeling. The room was dirty-dirt and bugs on the carpet, dirt and hair inside the sheets.

Little more attention could have been done in the room. Bed sheets and comforter had cigarette burn holes in them. Spider webs in the ice machine and had a foul smell initially.AC worked well and parking was good

It’s run down with shady people nearby. I smelled marijuana wafting from at least one of the rooms as I walked by. The hotel is located near a hospital, which meant frequent sirens from ambulances.

When I showed up to check in the girl at the front desk said they were sold out and didn’t have a room. I let her know I had already paid for the room and showed her my confirmation through the window and she said to call for a refund as she didn’t have anything.

WiFi did not work at all for 2 days. I had to work and ended up having to connect to my hotspot for 2 days; front desk basically said sorry not my problem. Neighbors were so loud both days and nights, I asked to another room and told no. It was not full!

Air conditioning was horrible

The parking lot wasn't well kept, overgrown shrubs, dark, stairs were broken and uneven, the bathroom had no shower curtain, television didn't work, called the front desk, was told that maintenance man was gone for the night,

Wall plugs are a fire hazard. Bugs on the pillows, sketchy people hanging around in the parking lot, tub was so slick I had to hang on to the handicap bar the whole time while taking a shower, outside noise was bearable overnight but still uncalled for.

Exceptional

Property is very old, musty smelling and dirty!! My daughter said the room gave her the creeps.. I couldn’t sleep in there. I asked for a refund and left as soon as I checked in!!

Room in nasty condition, staff rude and unkind, named Kay i believe she is a family member of the owners. Housekeeping never cleaned my room the whole stay. People hanging outside, very unsafe I do not recommend!

This is a dump. Do not book this motel unless you are a construction, or other laborer, etc.. Not fit for normal family travelers. BEWARE!!!!!

Disappointing

It says on thing free breakfast but I get up at 7:45 and then they said that breakfast closes at 7:30 and they're out of everything don't go stay there sorry ladies and gentlemen

There not enough parking I had to park in a handicap parking spot and surprised I didn’t get a ticket….

The only negative is hotel is older and could use a facelift but nothing that should keep anyone from considering especially just for its location.
