La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Monroe

We were in town to check on some investments there. We've stayed at LaQuinta before, but it's been a long time. First I want to say we had no ice on the 4th floor, walked down to 3, then 2 nothing. Totally annoying. On the 2nd day, we get Rosalind at the front desk. What a lovely woman. A) she asked us if we were rewards members (we were not asked at checked in). We said yes, she found our account and shared there was an error on the phone number which made it difficult to find. But she found it and then gave us giftbags. B) She apologized for the ice, and there was an ice machine on the 1st floor so she filled a bag with ice for our convenience as we were heading to our room, Many thanks to Rosalind!!!!! What was disappointing is there was a motorcycle club that came in on Friday and they were in the parking lot playing loud music, revving their motors, socializing and more! I called the front desk at 1AM to complain and was told you are not the only one complaining. She says, I told them to be quiet, but I don't want to call the police on them and they won't comply. So you are going to tell me, that it's okay for the rest of us who paid for their rooms to lose sleep and just deal with it? We had to be up and out at 4:30AM for a 6AM flight. She must have called the police because at 2AM it went quiet. Well needless to say we didn't get adequate sleep. Your employees need to do better and advocate for the guests and for the hotel's reputation. Epic Fail!

Was not impressed by the room, carpet was worn there was hair on the bathtub and toothpaste on the mirror, one of the beds sheets had a stain but the other one was clean. We were staying one night and leaving early so we just made do, everything was double due to the biker rally.

Staff was overall very friendly and helpful. Room was not clean upon arrival.

The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. And it was very close to Duck commander and town.

Amazing hotel super clean everything was excellent from the staff all the way to the food and rooms were super clean and oder free

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The trail next to the property is a LOVELY surprise and should be highlighted!

My only complaint was the very large roach under the bathroom sink.

Met our needs. Clean rooms, the staff was very friendly, and their continental breakfast was great. My only issue is that we didn't know beforehand that the elevators were currently out of service. Thankfully, we were only on the second floor right by the stairs as it was a late check-in and we had three small children. The check-in staff asked if we knew about the elevators then apologized that we weren't notified in advance, but they would not be the ones to be able to make those updates in the system. I would stay here again.

I have stayed at this property some years back and it was one of my favorite places to stay, but this property has gone down a lot; stained flooring, dirty cabinets, spotted sheets with hair on them, repairs needed thru out rooms and property, elevator not working, ice maker out of order as well.... property way different from what it used to be...won't be staying again. Breakfast was still normal. And nice staff

Work trip.

This stay was hotel number 5 out of my 2-week road trip. I was informed at check-in that the elevator was out of service and there were no rooms available on the first floor. The lady at the front desk was very nice and offered to help carry my belongings up to the room. Of course, I'm not going to allow that, so I carried my stuff up to the room on several trips considering that I am a Disabled Veteran with 5 broken vertebrae in my back. The room could have used a little extra attention as far as cleanliness, particularly dust in places that aren't dusted on a regular basis. For example, the door rails and trim. I moved the TV out from the wall to connect an HDMI cable to my computer and wow, the debris under the base of the TV was disgusting. Cleaning staff has no attention to detail.

My fav stay when in the area. However I can not understand why this property can not keep a reliable elevator. There's only 1 & it's constantly out of service. Obviously a new elevator & contractor is essential. Get it done.
