Wingate by Wyndham West Monroe

The room was clean and comfortable. We had no issues to write about. The price was more than reasonable. The greeting by the front desk, cleaning people, and at the breakfast bar was good each time we encountered the staff. The breakfast was good and fresh.

The rooms and amenities are in very poor condition. The breakfast area was dirty, the hot food looked unappetizing, and the utensils provided were visibly rusted. Inside our room, the key latch didn't function and the light bulb kept flickering on and off. When we asked to switch rooms, the bathroom sink fixture in the second room was completely wobbly and felt like it would fall off at any moment. We barely managed to stay the night and left as quickly as possible the next morning. Would not recommend.

The staff were helpful and accommodating. The room we were in at first had air conditioning problems, we were moved to a room that had working air conditioning. The bed was not very con’s the pillows were not good. The shampoo and conditioner and soap were amazing and smelled wonderful!! The property was maintained pretty well on the inside, but outside the trash was overflowing and was unkept. Not a big deal, just an eye sore. The pool is NOT heated like it says online. It’s freezing even in July!! The workout room had 5 machines but some weren’t in working condition. The breakfast was good and had a nice variety.

The biggest issue happened the next morning when my 3year-old woke up with multiple bites after sleeping in the bed. I reported it to the front desk, but there was no manager available. The employee offered to move us to another room and said she would notify management, but no one ever followed up with us. I did not try the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. If you're staying here, I recommend checking the room carefully when you arrive and inspecting the beds before settling in.

Bathtub was dirty. Hair dryer didn’t work. Large pink stain on floor outside of bathroom. Security safe had no batteries. Had to wait on check in attendant. I’ve been here before and the business office never has a computer available to use. Told attendant that there was a strong marijuana smell in the hallway on second floor. I thought this was a no smoking facility much less marajuana!

Nothing the staff was nice though The sink was leaking it had like a musty smell in the room and the remote had tape on the back to keep the batteries in it

The staff was very friendly upon arrival. Odd that there are no ones in the room to call the front desk. There aren’t any blow dryers in the room so I asked house keeping. They got me on but it was 45 minutes later. My hair was already dry by then. (This makes for a bad hair day):(. I could tell they had cleaned but it looked like they just mopped anything on the floor to a corner. The sofa in our room was so stained I would not sit on it for anything. Gross. I did sleep well in the bed and the air conditioning was super cold which I personally like. I don’t think I would stay here again.

The staff was great, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean for the most part The bathroom was in poor condition, the pool was very cold and not enjoyable at all. The bathroom had a broken door and for the price of the room it was not worth it. Not a good TV, the picture was going out on it.

The only good thing was the bed was comfortable. But had to completely spray Lysol over the entire bed because of the dirty room. It wasn't clean. Nasty carpet and furniture. Stains everywhere. Mirrors dirty. Shower was so slippery we had to put a hand towel in the bottom so we wouldn't slip and fall. For 200.00 a night it was a huge disappointment. Obvious water damage.

Location is great for fast food, gas and restaurants near by. Staff is very helpful and nice. Room is good but, is in need of a refresh including the air-conditioned. Overall it was comfortable stay.

No hair dryer on room, water pressure was horrible, only 3 half size pillows on bed, tv didn’t work.

AC was not working Toilet was not clean not flushed In the corner by the lamp there was dry throw up We found food in the refrigerator

My experience here was terrible. The room was not cleaned, hair was found everywhere throughout the room. The staff was nice enough to switch the room late that night and the second room was still not clean.

The WiFi, & computers was down. The guy @ the desk suggested I go get cash. I paid online with a credit card. When I didn’t want to go get cash he made a copy of my credit card. Then he place me in a room that the key cards don’t work so he gave me a key. The door stuck so I needed to push hard. When I ask for another room he wasn’t pleasant. I didn’t like any part of my stay. I didn’t feel safe when the door didn’t close easily I had to slam the door for it to close. I would never stay here again. I’m hope the front clerk didn’t keep a copy of my credit card.
